chapter 15: A Front Conversation.

"Tell me," I repeated, "did your men really try and interfere with the other guys?" The ones that were about to rape that woman?" The one that you should have defended?" I cured; the wind blew my hair all over my face. "Keeping the man distracted for as long as possible."

I didn't need him getting any closer than he already was. I had a very funny feeling he was a very good jumper, plus the fact he had beautiful wings as well. What I didn't understand was that he stayed where he was. He didn't even move from his spot, I needed to move soon anyway I couldn't very well stay

there all night. I took a look around me.

"Yes, as a matter of fact they are helping right now," he finely replied.

Once again I turned to face him for the last time as he stood there watching me as our eyes clashed. "So, I smiled, my fangs scrapping on my bottom lip, "is it ok for your men to kill someone?" but not ok for us woman?" not amused with the man in the least, "God, where is the justice in that?" I whispered under my breath, shouting out my questions once again.

"That is so disappointing you know?" shaking my head laughing at my own words, drifting down so they could hear it echo over the wind as it blew all over the place...."Anyways... "time for me to go now." I'll see you soon pretty boy," I giggled watching him frown at my sudden words... "Now... "you hold on a minute there?" Watching as his arms swung around, his wings uncurling while he shouted at me.

"Too late I whispered," I was already on the move, scanning around for an escape route now, I ran while I had the adrenaline rush, moving to the other side of the roof, the house was bigger than I originally thought, needing to move quickly as possible, hearing the snap of his wings as they started to beat, needing the chance to change back into my other form once I got down from here.

All I needed was my spell and how the hell did he see through my disappearing spell, was it my bright white eyes that attracted him

I really needed the chance to get away from every single one of them as I ran along the side, even away from this sexy man. He said some words that could upset any woman and them words would have lasted a life time even to me.

But I wasn't that type girl to stew for long, I wasn't going to take orders from the likes of him... "no- way- hoosy." I wasn't going to beat myself up over it just yet, smiling when I noticed there was a ladder on the other side.

"Yes," my praises have finally been answered once again tonight," I whispered, running to the damn thing as quickly as possible, worried that he wasn't too far behind me, and time was running out, ticking away from me.

once I gotten there that is, I would be a lot more relived I thought, taking a peek over my shoulder only to shudder, the thought of being locked away made me visibly sick as the man in question came into view. That could never happen on my watch, the people needed me as I started to ascend the stairs, climbing down into a beautiful lite garden that was full of drowned flowers. coming to the rear side of the house as I huffed out a long breath.

Promising myself that I was only here to try and save myself tonight and not looking at

the view of the garden, if only I truly believed that one still. It really was a sight to behold, I really didn't want to slip on my ass again tonight, I had too many to last me a life time already, turning to the side moving towards the ladder now, one step at a time, trying to climb down the slipper polls.

It was nice reaching the bottom at last, sighing with relief that I finely managed to make it down, that I didn't fall this time and around, surprised with the fact, I had even managed to stay on the metal at all, being so wet and slippery from my soaking shoes and clothes.

Releasing my form once and for all, returning to Ava was no picnic, glad that it happened

once again, hitting the last of the steps and onto the soft soaked grass of the garden. Thankful it wasn't so muddy here in this spot. Walking slowly now as I travelled through the night air on my lonesome, moving away from the men and the garden as I peeked around the last corner, making sure my exit was safe and clear for me to move.

Trying to find another way out of here. Walking to the locked gate smiling as if it was my own home, letting out a sigh of relief as I entered the darkened alley closing the gate behind me, my instincts starting to raise on my head as it tingled through my skull causing the hairs on my arms to lift and stand up on its tip toes, my path now opening up for me bigger that I thought it would be, making a bee-hive down the next street, starting the very slow trek alone in the cold of the night, like nothing had happened while I doodled home.

Smiling biting my bottom lip in excitement, hoping in the least, I had managed to stay hidden for quite a long time, moving around blending in with the shadows of the night like a ghost the sudden sounds of footsteps, men I could now see in the distance, running like blue ass fly's trying to catch a blue haired woman, watching them in silence, only to crash into Prince Charming's chest nearly knocking me off my feet, as he to rushed around the corner taking us both by shock.

My heart leaped out of my chest at the sudden impact, taking in the view of the man before me as he caught my arms to stop my fall, Only for him to suddenly smile, I squinted, trying to get a better look at the perfection in front on me, his stunning black wings were still out but I could tell he was hiding them from me and I was hoping he would see me as human, watching his men from the corner of my eye as they all ran for him.

Stopping when they spotted me in his arms while he held onto me, I froze mid-step, hearing his deep breathily voice in the wind only to make me shiver more in excitement, my body suddenly hyper aware as it responded to the sound, it was deeper when I was this close to him than I originally thought it had been on the rooftops.

"Maybe even sexier this close up."

I stared at him with a confused look on my face. That only made the man chuckle,

"I'm sorry, what? I asked stunned, I'm looking for a woman with blue hair?" have you seen her she's wanted for a crime she just committed.

"HAAA, straight to the point!" I do like that; I'll give the man his Jews.

"His bloody good, "I'll give him that?" I thought, I knew he was testing the waters here. breaking up the moment, I choked out my only response trying to keep my voice even,

"OW, no sorry, "I'm just on my way home myself, I've not seen anyone else around," I finally managed to say as I rambled on, breaking up our moment, his eyes roaming around my face for the truth, making me blush in return.

"BY GODS. "OH, those beautiful eyes," looking up into his blue ocean coloured eyes, holding mine captured, with his own. Words caught in my throat as he stood there staring back at me in silence for a very long time.

"GODS….he was to beautiful to even look at... His rough voice startled me, suddenly replying bringing me back to myself, the fact that I had been zoning out while staring back into those eyes way longer than I had plan too, and I was still watching him.

But my mind was elsewhere, my brain was a complete mess and it still wouldn't work for me, I stood there speechless. He smiled at my reaction to him, watching as he too took his own fill as he looked deeply into my green eyes for the very first time to. He smiled at my quite reaction to him, staying still in his hard

muscular arms not even realising that I was still standing there. His own smile slowly faded as he stared down at my red lips, and for the very first time he was quite too, not even a peak out of that mouth of his.

His pretty face stared back at me one last tim , he swallowed on a small gasp that came out of nowhere, only to be released seconds later, making me stumble back a step in shock.

"SO, sorry to have bothered you he replied at last, watching him walk away from me, he didn't even want to stop looking as he

watched me stumble, walking away, strangely I turned back to look at him.

I don't know why but I wanted to walk her home, he realised, he noticed she was all alone, walking out side in the dark.

I started to walk faster turning to another entrance, hoping they wouldn't follow me home. I didn't want these men catching up to me out of the blue or the Prince bumping into me like that ever again.

But I could still hear the Prince's footsteps in the distance as they pounded hard on the ground, they were like a heavy drum beating down on my heart as he started running to catch up to me once again, with a worried frown on his poor little face. My own wet feet pounding on the wet cemented muddy pavements in sloppy steps, trying to make my escape as fast as I could...

"This just isn't my night at all, I muttered, as the man reached my side once again.

"Would you like any assistance home love?" You really shouldn't be walking out alone especially at this time of night he replied still watching my face.

"GOOD HEAVENS, this man is so smooth talking, I thought, looking up at him in stunned silence.

"This Prince does seem to have a heart after all," staring up at him now in shock.

He couldn't even take his eyes from her, even if he wanted to as he studied her face.

"Thanks, I said rather quickly, but I can manage on my own from here, besides, don't they say it's best not talk to strangers?" I replied, raising my red brow, backing up a step, moving slowly away from him.

He frowned, it wasn't often he got refused by a woman.
