Ch-:13 Destruction Drill

"If I am right it's not that there is any hidden quest, I think the System gives me rewards after seeing my actions.", Sogen thinks.

He forbades the man from falling on his feet. Airo tells her father what had happened in the market area. After hearing all the incident, the man comes near Sogen and he grabs his hand.

"Sir Sogen, I am Karl, he is my son Adel and she is my daughter Airo whom you already knew. I may never be able to repay the favor you have done to me because I have nothing that I can give you other than these trees."

"Mister Karl, can you tell me what is the name of this tree and how many people in this town have these trees?"

"Sir Sogen, We calls it vola tree. There is no one in the town who has these trees. We didn't only sell these vola fruits but also some other fruits. But after I was bedridden, we didn't had enough money to nurture all the plants and trees. Sogen sympathize with him.

"Mister Karl, You already know that I want to do business and for it I need your tree's fruit. I also want some reliable business partner."

Sogen inspects the trees by activating Innate Talent Plant Encyclopedia, he understands why the cocoa fruits were rotting. Sogen takes out his bale. He takes out 5 gold coins from it and give them to Mister Karl and says," Don't refuse it. Just take them for your family. I need to do some arrangements. I will come on the day after tomorrow."

Mister Karl takes the money with gratitude in his eyes and says,"Thanks sir Sogen, I will try my best to pay the favour you have done on us."

Sogen turns back to walk away but suddenly a little hand grabs Sogen's clothes. It was Adel's hand. With fear in his eyes and with a soft tone, he says," Brother, will you protect us if those bad people come again?"

Sogen pats his head and says with a smile," Yes, I will protect you. But don't worry those bad people will never come again, not only here but in the whole town."

After which he walks out of Airo's house. When Airo comes outside, he was gone before she could drop him off.

Sogen was running but he stopped near a deserted alley. He wears his stealth suit and hidden face mask. He buys a durable sword from system store.

"Now I think I am ready. Should I get to work? Quest Rewards I am coming."

After travelling for some time, he comes near Rumber Alley. Some people were guardiang the place from outside. The place was quite the opposite of which Sogen was thinking. It was not looking like a base, it was a mansion. Sogen was wearing his stealth suit so the guards were not able to detect him. Sogen kills one of the guard by breaking his neck. As soon as other guards saw him, they ran towards him to attack him but suddenly a small blade peirces all their heads one by one. It was Sogen's Dark Shadow Blade. Sogen goes inside the mansion, some people were guarding the mansion. They all were members of Dima Loan Sharks. Sogen swiftly kills all of them. After killing all of them he reaches before a gate where 6 middle aged man were standing. They were all Earth Realm 3rd Stage Peak Level cultivators.

Sogen takes out his sword and uses Heavenly Mirage Footwork.

"Solar Sword 6th Form Dancing Steps of Sun", Sogen thinks and strikes all 4 four of them.

They were hit so hard that they all blew up and hit the gate. The gate was broken and all the cultivators were landed on a person's feet inside the room. The man was sitting on a couch, naked. A naked girl was in his arms. When they see their men and Sogen. He and the girl wear their clothes. The girl runs outside the room.

The man hit one of the man on his floor and says in anger," You all are worthless. You were not able to defend against a single person."

But as he checks his men, he finds them all dead because no one was breathing. He hurriedly says," Everyone come out."

Suddenly some men come out from 4 chambers inside the room. They were all Earth Realm 4th Stage Peak Level cultivators.

"You seem to be the leader here. Are you Glenn? Can you only hide behind your men? I think I underestimated you. You are just a coward", Sogen says with a sarcastic tone.

Glenn fumes with anger. He points his finger towards a man and says,"You, go and finish him."

The man goes to attack Sogen but when the man was a metre away from Sogen and lift his sword to attack him. In a single moment Sogen comes behind the man and his sword pierces through the man's heart, killing him in an instant. Everyone else was shocked.

"Everyone prepare for the secret technique.", Glenn says in fear.

Everyone nodded in affirmation and starts to form some seals by hand patterns. Glenn also starts to make a seal. In a moment of time a huge power ball was formed on Glenn's head.

Glenn starts to laugh and says," Boy, you are going to die here. Destruction Drill!"

After that he launches his attack on Sogen.

"Solar Sword 8th Technique Blazing Fire of Azure Sun.",Sogen thinks and counterattack them.

After the collision of both attacks nothing could be seen seen properly because of smoke.

After the powerful attack,the 3 Earth Realm 4th stage Peak Level cultivators were exhausted and fall on their knees.Even Glenn was so exhausted that he was not able to stand properly and starts to stumble.

He sighs with a releif and says "At least the boy is dead. He was able to kill an Earth Realm 4th Stage Peak Level cultivator in a single attack, he was not an ordinary person. His techniques were really powerful."

But he was shocked to see that a shilloute was coming out from the smoke. His body was full of small wounds but there were no major injuries. Glenn's eyes fill with fear. Before he could say something to other cultivators. Sogen peirces all their heads by his Dark Shadow Blade. Their bodies fall on ground with a loud noise. Only Glenn was left standing. Glenn falls on his knees and starts to beg.

"Brother... no, sir, sir please, please let me live. I will give you anything. You want money, I will give it to you. I will give everything I have to you. Please spare my life. I have never offended you."

Suddenly Sogen comes right in the front of his face and cut both Glenn's hand. Glenn cries loudly in pain.

"Other people also ask for your forgiveness. They begged you. Have you ever forgiven them?"

After saying it Sogen sits on the couch and starts to see him crying in pain. He was dying in agony. Soon his corpse falls on the floor and he dies. Sogen takes out the technique which he was using from his bale.

"Hmm.., a White Grade Low Level Technique, Destruction Drill. Well it can be sell for a good price."

After reading the technique for some time , Sogen put all the items in his inventory. But Sogen was confused because there was no message of quest completion. He behead Glenn to ensure that he was dead.

Suddenly a man comes running in the room and shouts," Boss, I was in the washroom but as soon as I came...."

But before he could say something he saw a man sitting on the couch and Glenn's body was lying on the floor. It was the same man who snatched gold coins from Sogen in the morning. After seeing all the mess Sogen had done, the man starts to tremble.

"Whoo..., who are you?",The man asks with stammering voice.

"Oh! Who I am?", After saying it, Sogen starts to laugh.

Suddenly a blade peirces through the man's head.

"You don't have the ability to know, who I am?"

"Ding!

Quest Completed.
