Revenge

Ye Qian smiled wickedly, his eyes flashing with a bloodthirsty coldness, and he stepped forward.

Zeng Dafu, however, was oblivious to the impending disaster. He was still enjoying the service of his mistress. In the province of SX, he was a well-known figure. In his youth, he was a troublemaker, causing his father to die of anger. Later, he opened a coal mine and quickly made a fortune, accumulating millions. Though not the richest, he was well-off. Recently, the coal mine owners in SX province had started investing in real estate in big cities. Despite knowing nothing about real estate, he joined the frenzy, relying on his wealth and connections.

This apartment was his love nest for his mistress. He was tired of his nagging wife at home and preferred his young, beautiful, and educated mistress. Having a university student as a mistress was a matter of pride for him. He might be uneducated, but he had money, and that was all that mattered. Just like yesterday, when he beat up an old man collecting garbage at the airport. The police only took a statement, and he settled the matter with a mere two thousand yuan. To him, that was nothing.

Ye Qian knocked on the door. After a moment, an irritated voice came from inside, "Who is it?" followed by muttering curses and moans, "Damn it, so annoying early in the morning. Oh, oh, ah..."

"I'm from the property management company. Please open the door, we need to conduct a simple survey," Ye Qian said.

Soon, the door was opened by the petite woman, her eyes lighting up with interest when she saw Ye Qian. Inside, Zeng Dafu was lounging comfortably on the sofa, his feet propped up on the coffee table, shaking smugly. "Say what you need to quickly and get lost," Zeng Dafu said impatiently.

Ye Qian sneered and swiftly moved forward, kicking Zeng Dafu off the sofa. "Ow!" Zeng Dafu screamed as his obese body rolled to the ground. He looked at Ye Qian in terror and asked, "You... it's you? What do you want?"

He had recognized Ye Qian as the man from the same flight, the one who had killed the hijackers. Fear filled his heart.

"Yesterday, you beat up an old man collecting garbage at the airport, didn't you?" Ye Qian asked as he kicked Zeng Dafu again. The mistress screamed in terror, and seeing Zeng Dafu's bloodied face, she fainted.

"Stop, stop! I'll pay. How much do you want?" Zeng Dafu pleaded in fear.

"Money doesn't make you invincible," Ye Qian said, kicking him again and again. He felt the need to beat this man, who had likely exploited countless poor workers and bullied many kind-hearted people.

Zeng Dafu wailed, "Please, big brother, stop. Spare my life."

Ye Qian dragged him to the sofa and sat down, lighting a cigarette and looking at Zeng Dafu without saying a word.

Zeng Dafu, no longer arrogant, was covered in tears, snot, and blood. "Big brother, I was wrong. Please forgive me. I'll do anything."

Ye Qian kicked him again, knocking him to the ground. "You know what to do."

"I... I don't know," Zeng Dafu stammered, terrified by Ye Qian's fierce gaze and unsure of what to say.

"Go to the People's Hospital with money and apologize to my father," Ye Qian said sternly.

"I will, I will go right away," Zeng Dafu said repeatedly, afraid of another beating.

Satisfied, Ye Qian put out his cigarette, got up, and walked to the door. Suddenly, he turned back, walked over to Zeng Dafu, and kicked him in the head, knocking him out. "Pah!" Ye Qian spat, finally feeling a sense of satisfaction as he walked out.

As he left Qianjiang Garden, the security guard asked casually, "Leaving so soon?"

"Yes, goodbye," Ye Qian said with a faint smile.

With the money in his diamond gold card temporarily inaccessible, Ye Qian needed to find a job to ensure his father lived comfortably in his old age. However, without any formal education or work experience, finding a job wouldn't be easy.

Feeling a bit lost as he walked down the street, Ye Qian grew increasingly frustrated. It seemed that living a peaceful life wouldn't be easy either.

While walking, a group of people suddenly blocked his path. Ye Qian looked up in surprise to see seven fierce-looking young men, one of whom he recognized as the thief from the previous night. Realizing they were here for revenge, Ye Qian understood immediately.

"Brother Dong, that's him. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have been caught by the police last night," the thief said angrily.

"Get him!" the leader, Brother Dong, ordered.

Before he finished speaking, Ye Qian kicked him, sending him flying and crashing to the ground. Without hesitation, Ye Qian moved like a tiger into a flock of sheep, quickly subduing the seven men in just a few seconds. They lay on the ground, groaning in pain, temporarily incapacitated but not permanently injured.

Ye Qian walked up to Brother Dong, squatted down, and said, "Brother Dong, my name is Ye Qian. Anything else you'd like to say?"

"N-no," Li Dong stammered, "Brother Qian, it was my mistake. Please forgive us."

"Brother Dong, you must be joking. I should be begging you to spare me," Ye Qian said mockingly.

"Brother Qian, you're joking," Li Dong said in fear.

With a loud slap, Ye Qian struck him hard. "Do I look like I'm joking? I'll tell you the truth, I'm in a bad mood today, and you're out of luck. Since you came to me, I won't let you off easily." Searching Brother Dong's body, Ye Qian found a set of keys and said, "I'll take your car for now. Bring money to redeem it. You should know how to find me, right?"
