I tapped finger against my chin. "Who is this client of yours? What does he look like?" I asked.
Martin shook his head. "I can't tell you." He said and then held up a hand. "No. I can't tell you honestly. It's not that I don't want to. I can't." He said holding up his right hand.
I saw a round circle mark that glowed and image of eye on it. "Your client put you under an enchantment?" I asked him.
Martin shrugged. "The fee was big enough for me to go along with it but I still have the protection of the Crossroads as I'm dealing with my client. If it was worth the gamble." He said.
I stared at him. "What happens if you can't make good on your agreement to find the maker of the sword or a copy of the sword what happens?" I asked him.
Martin sighed. "I lose out on large of gold coins and wish!" He said.
I sat back in my chair. "A wish! Power or a treasure?" I asked.
