Once they finish all the necessary work at the hospital, they leave and head somewhere else.
"Where are we going?" Noah asks, noticing that they are not heading toward his place.
"We're going to my house. You won't be living alone until you're fully recovered. So you'll stay with me," Adrian says casually. The driver glances at Adrian through the rearview mirror, unsure of what's happening.
Noah was taken aback by the unexpected offer.
"That can't be, I mean, I don't want to bother you," Noah protested, but Adrian's face turned serious as he moved closer to Noah.
"I'm not asking for your opinion. You'll stay with me, and that's final," Adrian asserted firmly. Nervously, Noah moved away and fell silent, not wanting to upset Adrian further.
However, after a while, he couldn't hold back his thoughts any longer.
"What about my things?" he asked hesitantly.
Adrian looked at him helplessly and replied, "I'll arrange for someone to bring them to you." Noah nodded, realizing he didn't have many belongings, so it wasn't a major concern.
Eventually, the car came to a stop, and Noah peered out of the window. They were in the parking lot of a luxurious building. Adrian led the way, and Noah quickly followed, stepping into the elevator.
As the elevator ascends, Noah is lost in his thoughts, barely noticing when the doors open again. Adrian walks out, and Noah follows suit, realizing that the elevator opens directly into Adrian's luxurious apartment.
Noah's eyes widen at the sight of the elegant and lavish surroundings. He feels overwhelmed and slightly out of place in such a grand setting.
Luxurious furnishings and everything looked pristine and well-organized. The apartment had a modern and sophisticated ambiance.
"Wow, your place is amazing," Noah said in awe as he looked around.
Adrian shrugged nonchalantly. "It's just a place to live," he said, though there was a hint of pride in his voice.
They entered the living room, which had large windows offering a beautiful view of the city. Adrian motioned for Noah to take a seat on the plush sofa.
"Make yourself comfortable," Adrian said, offering a faint smile.
Noah hesitated for a moment before sitting down. He felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness about staying at Adrian's place. It was all happening so quickly, but he also felt a sense of comfort in Adrian's presence.
Adrian went to the kitchen to prepare something for Noah to eat. "Do you want some coffee?" he called out.
Noah nodded.
"Yes, please."
As Adrian worked in the kitchen, Noah continued to look around the apartment. There were various pieces of art on the walls and elegant decorations that gave the place a sophisticated vibe.
When Adrian returned with coffee and some light snacks, they both sat together on the sofa. Adrian observed Noah, who seemed a bit lost in his thoughts.
"You know, you don't have to worry about anything here. Just make yourself at home," Adrian said softly.
Noah smiled gratefully. "Thank you"
"I have some work to finish; you make yourself comfortable," Adrian said as he stood up from the sofa after finishing his coffee.
Noah nodded, though he felt a bit uneasy with Adrian leaving him alone.
Adrian disappeared into his study room, and Noah sat there, feeling a little bored. Eventually, the drowsiness from the medication at the hospital caught up with him, and he drifted off to sleep on the couch.
When Adrian emerged from his study after completing his work, he was surprised to find Noah sleeping soundly on the couch. A warm smile crept on his face as he saw the peaceful expression on Noah's face. He went to his room and fetched a small blanket, gently placing it over Noah to keep him comfortable.
Adrian couldn't resist kneeling beside Noah and admiring him. He found himself caressing Noah's hair tenderly, feeling an overwhelming affection for the young man. Adrian's heart raced with emotions he had never experienced before, and he couldn't resist the urge to give Noah a soft kiss.
Fearing he might wake Noah up, Adrian settled for a gentle peck on his lips and pulled back, his smile growing wider. He then left the room, heading to his own, to freshen up and collect his thoughts.
In the kitchen, Adrian prepared a light dinner, contemplating how Noah had entered his life like a whirlwind, turning his carefully structured world upside down. He found himself caring deeply for Noah, more than he ever thought possible. Adrian's thoughts drifted back to their first encounter, and he realized how much he had changed since then.
When Noah slowly roused from sleep, a gentle sound tickled his ears, and he felt momentarily disoriented as he scanned his surroundings. As his memory quickly caught up with him, he sat up in surprise. His eyes fell upon a blanket covering him, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort wash over him. Noah knew exactly who must have put the blanket on him, and a shy smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
His gaze shifted to the source of the soft noises in the kitchen, and there he saw Adrian, tall and strikingly handsome, moving about with effortless grace. Even in casual clothes, Adrian exuded an air of sophistication that was hard to ignore. Noah found himself captivated by the sight, unable to tear his eyes away from the man who had taken over his thoughts and emotions.
