His hand was still tucked in his pockets in a gusto show of his charisma as he stood in front of her.

“Then let me help you remember. I’m the girl you met at the arcade”

“So?”

“I…just wanted…thank you for saving me that day”

“It was nothing”

He replied wanting to leave but she wasn’t done speaking to him.

“Wait, don’t go yet”

She said abruptly when he tried to leave. He sighed and returned to face her.

“I know you aren’t in the mood to listen to me because of who I am…”

“What makes you thinks so?”

“Huh…I’m sorry that was a slip of tongue. I shouldn’t have said that”

She said apologetically. Ruth felt embarrassed upon realization of her mistake and she suddenly felt a flush of nervousness when she saw the handsomeness of his visage looking down on her though his eyes spelt irritation but his eyes somewhat had that uniqueness which pierced into her heart as though he could read what she was thinking.
