AT THE OFFICE

It took Ruth about thirty minutes to express her deepest condolences to her deceased father and she left the necropolis eventually with the same unusual feeling of pain and sorrow in her heart. Then she arrived at the black limo of which she was driven to the cemetery by her driver and found him waiting for her on the driver’s seat.

She opened the door herself and entered the car before the driver could notice her entering the back seat. In sheer haste, the driver turned on the car engines at the realization that Ruth had entered the car and was settling down for eventual departure from cemetery.

“Where to, Madam?”

The driver questioned as soon as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. Then he started driving the car slowly towards the main road.

“Take me to the office, Lucas”, Ruth replied faintly and took her android tablet from her handbag.

“Alright, Ma’am”
