THE OTHER SIDE OF RUTH

Ruth ignored Chloe’s demand for the file even when her personal assistant was standing close to her and toss the file on the desk unexpectedly. The file landed heavily on the huge pile of files scattered on the desk but somewhat didn’t enter the carton. Then she wearily slumped down on her chair and covered her face with her two palms in utter frustration. It became vividly clear to Chloe that her boss was dissatisfied with the schedule she had made and the guilt was now staring in her direction. 


Chloe was a bit taken aback by what Ruth did in front of her and felt guilty for making her feel discontented with herself.

Ruth retorted and brought her hands down her face. She did her best to brighten her dismayed countenance with a feeble smile though she knew it wasn’t enough to convince Chloe that she didn’t like the schedule which would determine a whole lot of her daily routines for the month.
