TURMOIL

A little into the evening, Elizabeth parked her grandfather’s Isuzu d-max 1988 ford at the park of the Catholic hospital downtown, behind a Mazda that had a baby on board sticker attached to it. Her hands were tightened around her steering wheel because she had nearly crashed into the back of the grey car. She scurried out of the Ford and looked between the both vehicles, when she was certain there had been no damage, she palmed her chest in relief.
