My trusted one

I sent a message to Ana revealing the truth of my condition.

One bright morning, Ana came to visit me, and I could tell she was eager to understand the reasoning behind my actions. I took a deep breath and began to explain.

"Ana, I know I lied to you about losing my memories, but I had to. I was in danger, and I didn't know who to trust. I had to protect myself." I told her desperately. I needed someone to understand me.

Ana listened intently, her eyes filled with concern. "What kind of danger?" she asked.

"I'll tell you everything," I promised. "But first, let me ask you something. Do you remember the day I called you, saying I wanted to end my life?"

Ana nodded, her expression somber.

"That wasn't a suicide attempt," I revealed. "Someone tried to kill me. I went in front of a truck, but I managed to jump back. And then, an old man came to apologize, claiming he was the driver. But I know he wasn't. He was just a pawn in their game." I said.

Ana's eyes widened in shock. "Who's behind this?" she demanded, quietly.

I hesitated, unsure if I should reveal more. But Ana's determination and concern for me made me trust her. "I'll tell you everything," I repeated. "But you have to promise to keep it a secret."

Ana nodded fervently. "I promise. Tell me."
