“Clara, Clara, Clara!” I yell as I skip towards her while she’s eating. She looks up from her store bought sushi and gives me a curious look.
“What, what, what, Heather?” I simply smile as I hand her a box with a pregnancy test in it.
“This is just another gift I forgot to give you on your birthday.” I lie and she cracks up.
“My birthday was a month ago and I got everything my heart desired.” She says truly meaning it.
“Well, this is a gift we are all sharing. Open it!”
She grins as she unwraps the little ribbon, and pulls back the lid.
She gasps and looks at me in shock.
“Heather this better not be a prank. I swear to Bob.”
I can tell she’s about to start screaming soon.
“I don’t even pull pranks, Clara. This is real.”
“Ahhhhh!!”
Yep, there it is. Sure enough, someone is about to knock on my door complaining about the noise but I don’t care.
“I’m going to be an aunt! And since Hansel is my twin, the baby is going to look like me!”
