The sun's rays pierced through the canopy, casting a warm glow over the forest floor. Li Xiao stirred as the light reached his face, rousing him from a fitful sleep. He blinked against the brightness, momentarily disoriented before the events of the previous day came rushing back an he couldn't help but cursed out loudly.
" Fu*k...
" That's right I got transmigrated in to another world."
' And worst part I didn't even transmigrated with built in system."
" Sigh! So what I don't have any Golden Finger, I will surely find some Heavenly treasure and be at the top of the world."
After cursing for a while Li Xiao calm himself down With a deep breath, he pushed himself up, stretching his stiff limbs and taking in his surroundings.
The forest was peaceful in the early morning light, the air crisp and fresh. Li Xiao knew he couldn't stay in one place for too long. He had to continue his journey, find more food, and perhaps come across a sign of civilization.
Li Xiao gathered his few belongings, which is only the the remaining apple-like fruits he had picked the day before, and set off.
As he moved through the forest, Li Xiao stayed alert, his eyes and ears attuned to any signs of danger. The forest was teeming with life, and it wasn't long before he encountered some of its more formidable inhabitants.
In the distance, Li Xiao spotted a large beast, its powerful frame moving gracefully through the underbrush. He froze, his heart pounding in his chest. Without Qi to aid him in combat, any confrontation with such creatures could be deadly.
Thankfully, the lack of Qi also meant he was less noticeable to the beast. Moving cautiously, he slowly backed away, taking care to keep himself downwind and out of sight. The beast, oblivious to his presence, continued on its path, allowing Li Xiao to slip away unnoticed.
After beast left from his sight Li Xiao let out a sigh of relief once he was safely away, the adrenaline still coursing through his veins.
The hours passed as he traveled, the terrain gradually changing. The forest became less dense, the trees giving way to rolling hills covered in tall grass. Li Xiao's stomach growled, reminding him that it was time to eat.
Li Xiao found a suitable spot at the edge of a small clearing and sat down, pulling out the remaining apple-like fruits from his bag.
The fruit was slightly bruised from the journey, but it still looked and smelled as delicious as it had the day before.
Li Xiao bit into it, savoring the sweet, tangy flavor that filled his mouth. Each bite was a small comfort, a reminder that he had at least managed to secure some sustenance in this strange new world. As he ate, he allowed himself a moment of rest, leaning back against a tree and looking up at the sky.
The sun was high now, the day growing warmer. Li Xiao knew he needed to keep moving. Resting for too long in one place could attract predators or other dangers. He finished the last of the fruit, feeling a bit more energized, and stood up, ready to continue his journey.
As Li Xiao resumed his trek, he noticed an increase in the presence of beasts. They seemed to be more numerous and more aggressive as he traveled further.
Each encounter tested his ability to move silently and remain unnoticed. The absence of Qi, while limiting in combat, seemed to act as a cloak, allowing him to slip past the creatures without drawing their attention.
Despite his caution, the constant tension began to wear on him. As the sun started to dip toward the horizon, he grew increasingly anxious about finding a safe place to spend the night. The forest was no place to be after dark, especially with the growing number of beasts around.
" I'm scared and thirsty...."
Like Xiao muttered softly looking at the surroundings where he didn't find a trace of human being.
As modern man from the wealthy and loving family he didn't have any time to spend alone, he was always surrounded by his family or some people who wanted to curry favor from his family.
Now alone in the wilderness without food, water, people and with lurking dangerous beast's Li Xiao finally understand how he was lucky in his previous life.
