Chapter 5: Hidden Valley

Li Xiao, who had been sleeping peacefully, began to wake up as sunlight streamed through the ceiling of the cave. Rubbing his eyes, he stood up and did some light exercises from his previous life, trying to loosen up his stiff body. Once he felt more limber, he moved toward the cave entrance, drawn by the sounds of birds chirping in the morning light.

However, what truly captured his attention were the occasional powerful roars of beasts echoing in the distance, sending shivers down his spine.

Li Xiao who was about to go out suddenly stopped and sniff something so he look at himself, realizing he was covered in dirt and grime, Li Xiao felt an urgent need to bathe.

"Yeah, I didn't bathe for a whole month." Li Xiao muttered under his breath remembering that he didn't bath for a whole month. He remembered his reflection in the lake the previous day, which made him even more eager to clean himself up.

However, just as he was about to step out, something caught his eye at the back of the cave. It was a small passage that he hadn't noticed the previous night due to the darkness.

Curiosity got the better of him, and Li Xiao walked towards the passage. He hesitated for a moment, considering the potential dangers.

"From the experience of reading countless cliched novels, this is one of the scenarios where protagonist get opportunities and soar in the sky, And I'm the protagonist of this novel," he muttered, a faint smile playing on his lips at the thought.

Determined to explore, he got down on his hands and knees and began crawling into the narrow passage. The further he went, the colder and darker it became. The walls were damp and rough against his skin. Time seemed to stretch on endlessly, and just as he started to feel flustered and claustrophobic, he spotted a faint light at the end of the passage.

Hope renewed, he quickened his pace, muttering under his breath, "I'm fast as fu*k boy!"

After what felt like an eternity of crawling, Li Xiao finally emerged from the passage, gasping for air.

"Cough cough... aah, my precious clothes," he lamented as he looked down at his tattered attire, which now barely clung to his body in rags. He spent a few moments grieving over his ruined clothes before reluctantly turning his attention to his surroundings.

Li Xiao's eyes widened in astonishment as he took in the scene before him. He had emerged into a hidden valley, bathed in a soft, ethereal light. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of a gentle stream flowing nearby. Majestic trees with vibrant foliage surrounded the area, creating a natural haven that seemed untouched by time.

But most importantly In the center of the valley stood an ancient looking broken Hut, yes ancient looking not really ancient it's just fu*king broken hut.

" Uuugh I wasted my precious time Huh,

You thought I would say that Blaaargh this is clearly an opportunity for this Protoganist." Li Xiao spoke softly not knowing who is he talking to.

Li Xiao felt a strange seeing broken Hut in this beautiful valley but he was transmigrated person so he know most of the cliched situations.

Despite his initial hesitation, he couldn't wait for to explore further this broken Hut.

As he approached the broken Hut, he noticed various trees and herbs he didn't know, Receiving his predecessor memories he know some Herbs that can be make into various pill to speed up cultivation.

Each step he took felt like a air grew cooler as he entered the broken Hut, a sense of disappointment washed over him.

Inside the broken hut there was nothing except a broken table where one can see a rusty sword with scabbard, one old looking scroll, one letter and there was nothing else.

Looking at the table Li Xiao walked toward the table slowly, As Li Xiao walk He stopped infront of the table and stretched his hand pick up a old looking scroll to open it.

As Li Xiao open old Looking Scroll Li Xiao eyes that were filled disappointment before, Now looking at the scroll they were open wide with disbelief and happiness in them and Li Xiao couldn't help but exclaimed loudly.
