They had exposed her private information online: her siblings' details, and their home address. Tears trickled down her face as she saw that they were now boycotting her brother's competition online. It was really now out of hand, and whoever did it had won.

In a deserted warehouse stood at the city's edge, its walls covered in ivy and graffiti. Broken windows let in slivers of light, illuminating a dim interior. Crates and boxes were stacked haphazardly, casting long shadows. A hidden room, concealed behind a false wall, contained a single chair and a locked door. The air was thick with dust and the stench of decay. The hideout was far away from resident areas, and round about it was a forest. It was meant for special operations that required zero disturbance.

There, Lady Montero was tied and blindfolded. Xavier was circling her, scratching the ground with an iron rod.

She sat unfazed, a smile hung on her lips.
