Someone is Targeting Us

Ethan decided not to return Anastasia to her house because it would be disrespectful. After all, she was unconscious. To avoid worrying the Reeds, he returned Anastasia to his Emerald Coast County home, a villa amid Jade Lake.

On his way, Ethan called someone and said, "Make the Voss family disappear from Emerald Coast County within three days."

"Yes!" Hearing Ethan's voice, the guy on the other end dared not be negligent.

Alfie Voss, Gudrich's father, was the patriarch of the Voss family.

Lucius Voss, Alfie Voss's eldest son and older brother of Gudrich Voss, was a middle-aged man.

"It isn't much trouble. After I pack them, you can use them the following time." Lucius smiled. He had always been dutiful and met all of Alfie's demands. He would do whatever he could on his own, refusing to accept assistance from anyone.

"Since the Orion Industries has such great potential, why don't we try cooperating with it?" Lucius asked.

Alfie Voss exhaled. "Why? When the Orion Industries stated it was looking for a partner in Emerald Coast County, we quickly dispatched someone. Everything was going well until two days ago when the Orion Industries abruptly changed its mind and ignored us."

"What is going on? Have we offended the Orion Industries in some way? Or is it so pompous and high that it looks down upon us? Maybe there is a reason behind that we are not aware of." Lucius frowned.

Alfie Voss exhaled. "Who knows?" Anyway, we have yet to find out. Lucius, when you have time, contact Mr. Boysen, the general manager of Orion Industries. We should improve our relationship with Orion Industries and figure out where the problem is. We should also find a way to collaborate with it. Such opportunity only comes rarely.

Alfie nodded. "That's good. How can we be bullied by that child and allow him to get away with beating Alaric so badly? If we don't get our revenge, will anyone dare to take advantage of us? But you have to be careful. Don't allow Gudrich to go overboard. Don't cause further problems."

Lucius quickly went forward, grabbed him by the collar, and yelled angrily, "Didn't I tell you long ago to hide those things that shouldn't be visible? Aren't those artists under stringent supervision? "Why are they suddenly suing us? You did not do your job well!"

Because of their broad network of connections, the Vosses could avoid the tight rules and purges. However, they were apprehended unexpectedly and charged with extensive evidence against them today. It was unprecedented. And they were not informed in advance.

Furthermore, if all of their wrongdoing were uncovered, there would be a massive uproar, and the Vosses would undoubtedly suffer significant losses, even if they did not collapse!

Lucius calmed down a little and remarked resentfully, "Dad, there's certainly something wrong! If it was only one corporation and something bad was discovered, we could blame it on our negligence.
