Chapter seven

We all sat at the waiting area, it's gonna be a long flight of twelve hours. It's going to be boring, I hope I get the window seat. I was excited however, I had already downloaded the latest movie, ' mean girls' and I can't wait to watch it.

Just as we were about to board the flight, cayo wall up to me and gave me some hardcover books.

" This are some books I got for you, it should help take away the boredom of the long flight" he said with a smile.

My heart fluttered, and butterflies danced in my belly, such a cute gesture, is this guy trying to make me fall harder for him than I already am.

" Thank you" I said taking the books. He just nodded his head and went away to the rest of the guys.

However, Celestia gave me a fright by jumping on my back. " Luna tell me the truth now would you" she asked hugging my back.

" What truth?" I asked with a raised brow. " What's going on between you and cayo, he is Soo nice to you, and treats you differently. And you two, the way you keep staring at him, your subtle blush when you two are talking, and see, he went out of his way to bring books for you, don't think me a fool to believe nothing is going on between you two" she asked.

" It's the truth, weather you like it or not, there is nothing between us, we are just friend. You are simply overthinking, give your brain a rest before it explodes" I said downplaying her words.

" Weather you like it or not, something is going on between you two, and tye truth can't be hidden for long. Anyways, if you seriously have nothing going on, believe me am gonna fall on my knees asking him to be my boyfriend" Celestia said grinning.

" Eww, what, you are not gonna do that" I said, a part of me uneasy with her words. " What, am gonna do it. I like him anyways, I have a crush on him, if you don't do it, I would do it, and if I don't do it another girl would. So why waste time" she said, and her words couldn't be more true.

" Forget all that rubbish, we need to get moving" I said and walked forward.

Soon afterwards, we were all seated in the plane. And lucky for me I did get the window seat, and next to me sat Celestia, behind us Nadia and cayo, and Rafael was seated some place away with another student.

When the plane took off, that's when Celestia and I started watching mean girls. Lol, it was so funny, but deeply meaningful, everything made sense, plastic can be broken, it's just plastic.

I don't know who out of all the characters is the most mean, I mean everyone is mean in their own right, but ofcourse no one can take the place of Regina George, she is the queen bee for a reason. And I think after her was Janis, she actually pushed Cady towards the plastics, for her own revenge, after Janis I'd say Cady, she herself didn't know when she became a copy of Regina, but I think Karen is just a naive girl who hangs around to look cool, but is actually clueless, naive and innocent.

Kudos to the producers, it's a great movie, with memorable characters, and important lessons. After that I decided to take a nap, as my excitement from the trip didn't allow me a proper night sleep.

I had a very beautiful dream in my sleep, I saw a home, filled with love and laughter. The ever green grass, and tye beautiful mountains. I saw myself surrounded by two beautiful kids, one with green eyes. I also saw myself dancing under the beautiful night sky with cayo.

I saw a home build on love, and I saw immeasurable happiness and security, I saw the always happy and smiling face of kids, and I saw us age with time, walking with the support of one another, with grey hair, and wrinkled faces.

I saw us sitting on the bench by the beach, with our grown up kids beside us, as we lean on eachother. I didn't know I was smiling in my sleep or for how long I slept, the only thing that shook me was when I opened my eyes to the sight of Celestia staring at me confused.

Knowing what my dream was about I couldn't help the deep blush that graced my cheeks and picked a random book from the book that cayo gave me and covered my face with it.

The book I picked was the time traveler's wife, and God I didn't know how I ended up crying while reading. Anyways, except for minor breaks of toilet and food, I hardly had any time for anything, I was so engrossed in my book.

We stopped at Paris for an hour to take rest and rewind before we continue our journey. At that time I had no choice but to keep my book and go a little sightseeing with the group.

Anyways the flight wasn't at all boring for me, thanks to cayos books. By the time we arrived at Italy, it was already 2am at night, so we slept at a hotel. By 8 in the morning, when we were all ready, we took a bus to Tuscany which was another two hours ride.

But this time around I was seated next to cayo. " Thank you for the books, it helped a lot" I said smiling at him. " Don't mention, but I feel a little regret about giving you the books now honestly" he said. And my throat sank to my stomach at that.

I was silent, didn't know what to even say. " I meant, look at you, thanks to the books, you cried so much now and your eyes are all fluffy" he added and I felt a tinge of relief.

" Oh, I think that's natural reaction to emotional stimulation. It wasn't your fault that the book was so good and evoking emotions, and I just couldn't help, the love between Clare and Henry, their longing, and just how the whole situation isn't in their hands. I can never imagine the amount of pain the two have to go through, even thou it's just a book" I replied honestly.

" You are right, and I think such is life, but it's also prove that love can trescend human rational and understanding, and it can trescend time and circumstances. Such is the enduring power of true love" he said.

" I know right?. But again, it's not a pain that's tolerable. It's so painful to be separated from your love, may we never have to experience such pain ever in our life" I prayed sincerely to heavens.

" Ameen. Do you have any plans or bucket list for this trip" cayo asked.

" Now that you mentioned it, actually no, I have no plans, but I do hope to just be able to experience everything first hand" I replied.

" I thought so. So I have a plan for you if you are interested" he said and I was immediately excited.

" What tell me" I asked. " Well, you should calm down, I would tell you all about it when we reached Tuscany. It's a two weeks trip so there is ample time to enjoy the life their. For today, let's just reach there peacefully, and rest the day, as tomorrow is a new day and new adventures awaits us" he said and I felt wronged.

Why did he have to pique my interest just not to tell me in the end. Anyways we reached Tuscany around 10, and I decided to heed his advice and rest the day.
