Ashamed, Disgusted, Enranged

The three boys ran through the forest, each having a different mood and expression but one remained common they wanted to get to safety before even thinking dire thoughts.

Shin ran. Slowly getting left behind. He gritted his teeth and caught up, his glasses fogged up.

Jhaun just a meter ahead the two. His eyes expanded in shock, it reverted and focused on what he was seeing. The dark figure dashed and quickly arrived leaving them no chance to react.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH"

Jhaun screamed. The two startled by the noise their mind fog dissappearing.

"What are you screaming for punk!? Your gonna attract the nightmares!"

The stranger whispered.

"W-what? Oh thank gods your a human an awakened variant at that. What do I owe the pleasure good sir?"

'Kayatas buang uy, what is up with these umbrella bozos having a dark attire.. Edgy mafakas! I say, edgy!!!'

"Come, I'm here to pick you up. We'll meet with the rest of the sect at camp and you'll get to meet your fellow orphans."

Shin asked in an uneasy tone

"Is everyone okay?"

"Your kiddie friends? Yes they're safe and sound in the makeshift camp we just set up.. Move while talking, I really don't wanna fight those lanky creatures while protecting you deadweight."

Shin reacted at the last note and was met with food for thought .

They resumed running. Shin clarified his question in the same tone.

"No-no, I meant are the older kids fine!? is our Mothe-, I mean is our caregiver fine.. You know, Awakened Teresa.?"

The man's communicator lit up. He listened to the news brought by their leader, he frowned as he was given the answer for his question.

'Fantastic timing.. Oh well..' '

"Sorry kid, i haven't been informed of the whole situation just yet. But maybe the personell at base camp might have an idea."

Shin irritated.

"I highly doubt that. You're clearly a personell of a decently high rank, since you were sent to rescue us, if we weren't here you'd be probably kill the remaining stragglers as you were ordered. What are the chances a man in special uniform like you not receive every information of the situation. In your competent sect close to zero. So if we realyl think about it.. "

A smile appeared on the trio.

Jhaun in a proud glad voice

"You nerdy bastard.."

"You didn't receive their status, and.. saint resh were close to the battle when we last so him. He probably got there in time and saved them all!"

"Saint Resh my glorious king."

Finsley blurted.

They all glanced at him with strange expressions.

"Uhh, haha I mean.. Don't blame me, I was just pondering about your mistakes and the possible consequences your actions Brought, Jhaun's cowardice and the word deadweight. Enlightened with that fresh information I couldn't help but be happy and expressive."

Jhaun added with a somber grin.

"Indeed... I was literally thinking of how to shamefully hide myself from you guys and the others, like the coward I am a while ago. An ironic thought process really."

The awakened's face wore a regretful and shameful face hidden with a dark hat.

"Tsk."

'What have I done..'

Following a diverse flock of deep foot prints prominent in the snow, they ran fast. As the trio's morale boosted they hastily travelled.

The sunlight covered by the snowridden sleeping giants. The rays gently touched the spruce trees and then their faces as they saw the town from a hill on the path. They've arrived at the camp and quickly the awakened returned to the forest to provide support. Slowly catching their breaths. They limped down exhausted and spent, their bodies voluntarily turned off, before seeing a group of people coming towards them.

After a while Fin woke up first. He woke up as he felt pain awaken throughout his body.

"Bloody Spell.."

As he cursed while struggling to stand upright. A figure in a dark attire with striking purple eyes, met his glance and stared at him for a few seconds. Then a husky deep voice came out his gloriou- attractive

dark-skinned face.

"Finito? You're Finito Yansley right?"

Startled his mind in an influx of thoughts on how to respond to this menacing figure. He

panicked and said the first grammatically correct response.

"Yes sir, Ascended Sir!"

He loudly said as his body suddenly gestured a salute.

'What the spell, why did I even do that'

He thought while putting his hand back down on his back his pale cheeks now contrasting the redness.

'He's now probably thinking what a strange kid. That silver hair probably isn't his only disease or something like that. God man I'm such a bloody bogan.'

Saint Resh a little startled, he presumed his indifferent facade and said in his husky deep voice..

"Don't hesitate to ask me something. Later I need you three to be well rested, I'm gonna need a discuss something among you orphans."

Fin nodded as the Saint exited the tent.

"wait, three"?'

He turned around as his brothers' mocked his embarrassing moment.

Jhaun said in a mocking tone.

"Yes sir, My glorious king sir!"

Shin laughed rejuvenated from his rest.

"Knock it off guys! I was startled and tired okay?!"

"Yeah-yeah inbred boy, did you ask about Mother Teresa's condition?"

"No, sorry I didn't get a chance to ask. Shin"

As a dire thought appeared in their minds, then unexpectedly their fellow orphan came in to disperse the dark mood.

"Hey guys, you doing okay?"

A long violet-black haired girl wearing black glasses with tiny rectangular frames within her grey eyes hid and a mole in her bottom-right corner of her chin appeared. Using a Midlands accent she conversed with the three and together they shared their thoughts and words to calm and lift eachother. After enlighting each other her tone changed serious and anxious.

"Do you guys, know where my sister Faye is?"

Shin replied

"Didn't you know? She stayed with our Caregiver with Keith and Tess. Dont worry though they are safe. Have you seen Teresa though?"

The room fell silent after a short while

Then Cera replied.

"No? Not yet.. Even the other kids doesnt have a clue to their wellbeing. Everytime we asked we were given barely a response or downright ignoring us."

"Shit.."

Finsley mumbled
