Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Only I can screw up something as simple as this.
Moving on a little further through our past; Luca and I joined my uncle's spy agency which posed as a business organisation and thanks to Luca's amazing brain and my AWESOME ninja moves, we became one of the best teenage spies in the organisation... after two years of working in it of course.
It also maybe had something to do with the fact that our uncle owns the agency and that there weren't that many teenage spies at the time to begin with.
That was also how we found out that Matthew, Luca's best friend and a drop dead hottie is also a spy and so is his cousin - Maya. And yes, it's the same my that's my best friend. I was as shocked as you, Maya never told me that she had a cousin.
It was about the time we found out about Matthew and Maya's involvement in the organisation that Luca and I moved out of Aunt Siobhan's place since there was really no reason for us to stay there anyway and began living with our uncle but sometimes we ended up having to stay overnight at the agency which we didn't mind by the way. Then one day, the best thing to possibly happen happened.
I and my friends were assigned to the biggest mission of my life and that day just happens to be today.
Normally, my friends and I were sent on small missions only, and so I was super excited to go on our first big mission but Luca was worried, as usual. Which made no sense at all because the mission seemed simple enough, I mean all I had to do was:
1. Break into the enemy base which is by the way in a...JUNGLE!!
2. Get into the control room.
3. Copy and delete all the enemies files.
4. Get the Flash drive all the files were copied into and
5. ESCAPE.
Obviously, my identity remained hidden under my wig, contact lens and mask.
While Luca is the brains behind the heist, the voice in my ears if you will while Maya was back up and Matthew was the get away driver. A piece of cake for a bunch of "world class" trained spies right? Well in my case the answer just happens to be NO. Now obviously, if you read from the beginning, you'd know that I performed all the steps excellently well but the most crucial step- Step 5 and now I might just die because of it. As usual, only I can screw up something as easy as this.

"This is your last chance. Hand over the flash drive now or never live to see the light of day. " He threatened and I rolled my eyes. 'Sure I'll just hand over this information filled drive and fail the most important mission of my life because you asked me to and what is up with him?
I mean for someone who can make such a horrid face, it's disappointing how terrible he is at making threats.'
There was no way to escape from this so I had to pull the scared n cute card.
"Stop please. Please don't shoot. Here's the drive just please don't shoot. " I said in the most pitiable, cowardly and apologetic tone as I brought out a blue drive from the hidden pocket of my spy suit. I kid you not, the goons actually fell for it, I guess they don't see alot of spies around here. I threw the drive to the ground and within seconds it exploded with a hushed pop sound and released a cloud of smoke blinding their vision. 'Ha! The flash is in a black drive dummies.' I smirked in my head.
I immediately put on my heat detecting goggles which can basically detect any heat source, living or non-living, no matter how small. And Yet again, I dashed into the cloud of smoke trying my best to knock as many guys as I can out as I maneuvered my way through. Once out of the cave, I quickly scurried out of the path making a left turn? I'm not really sure about it. All I know is I ran fast, at least as fast as my tired legs could go at the time and I didn't dare to stop.
