First Battle.

The Swinub in sudden awareness moves by jumping away from the normally faster fox dodgeing the bite and moving in surprising speed fires a shard of ice towards D.

'What why is he so fast!' As the Ice Shard flies through the air and hits the unprepared D into his neck with his saving grace being the prominent fur on his neck blocking most of the force of the Ice Shard.

"Ah!? Who are you! I'm eating here go away or else!" The Swinub talks in a male, sqeaky, screamy voice and then charges towards D in a recongizable Tackle moving noticeably slower than the Ice Shard they fired moments before.

'So priority moves exist here too? I'll worry about that later I'll focus on the fight!' D dodges the Tackle of the Swinub and tries to scratch the pig Pokemon as it goes by only for D's paws to deal no damage.

'I'm just realizing now but I don't have claws.. I have some pretty big fangs for my size but I have absolutely no claws... Bullshit there's no way that a fox catlike Pokemon has no claws!'

While D is troubled with the fact that he has no claws the Swinub proceeds with another less recongizable move and Swinub produces and fires a wave of icy snow at D.

"Get out of here! It's my berry!" The Swinub says after firing the icy snow at D which frosts over D fur and freezes parts of D's body through his fur. 'For fucks sake! Why is a Swinub so tough?!'

"I'll kill you if you don't get out of here right now!" The Swinub says in the same sqeaky voice as before and while the Swinub is semi shouting their half baked threats D takes the time to refocus from the damage he's taken and collect himself.

'I've got to at least knock him out or else Beartic will murder both me and the Swinub.. I've got to hold him down. I don't have claws or nails or anything I can scratch with so I've got to bite him in the neck the back to take him down.'

"So leave me alone or I'll hit you with another one of those and I'll freeze you completely!" The Swinub who's been talking the whole time stops speaking after around a minute of threatening D.

Once the Swinub starts to stop talking D runs toward the Swinub in a zig zag pattern finally using the back two legs to kick off the snow moving faster than he did before.. "Hey-y! Back up!" The Swinub hurriedly prepares and fires another move similar to the last move they used.

This time D is able to jump out of the way as the Swinub fires the move not accounting for D's erratic movement and when D closes the distance he pounces onto the pig Pokemon planting two of his legs onto the Swinub burying its face into the snow.

Looking down at the Swinub and back up D see's the Beartic staring at him with a cold gaze. '..Damn I really down want to kill a Pokemon of all things.. but I'm way more scared of that insane bear killing me if I don't kill this thing.. This is so fucked up.'

Going down and ingoring the Swinub trying to talk to him he bites into the back of the head of the Swinub and as he does so blood rushes into his mouth as the Swinub starts to flail around only to be held down by D's limbs. As the Swinub slowly starts moving less and less as its blood starts to dye the snow around them.

D continues to hold the Swinub down while having it slowly bleed to death without continuing to bite it until the Swinub no longer struggles and after another minute or so D can no longer feel the pluse of the Swinub through his paws.

Beartic comes out of the snow he was sitting in and walks up to D. "Good job! Your worth something after all! You'll be a worthy kill for me soon. Now take that pig with you and we'll head back and I'll teach you how to use moves and since you did so well I've also teach you how to retract and put out your claws."

D nods along and follows the Beartic as he walks staring off into nothing while picking up the corpse of the Swinub in his mouth heading back to into the direction of the cave with a glazed over look in his eyes and frosted and frozen fur.
