Awakening the System
As Aiden returned to the academy , the necklace began to glow, it's energy pulsating in rhythm. Aiden felt a strange sensation, as if the artifacts were resonating with him directly.
"Shit!!, I need to hurry to the dorm. Before this necklace goes crazy." Said Aiden, as he put it in his pocket, and ran to the dorm.
The other students who saw him running, thought to themselves that he probably needed the toilet in a hurry.
As Aiden entered his dorm room.
Suddenly, a blinding light enveloped the room through his pocket.
When the light faded, Aiden opened his eyes to see a translucent interface hovering in front of him. It displayed a series of symbols and text, all in a language he somehow understood instinctively.

Aiden blinked in surprise. "WHAT THE HELL!!!"
"Hey system, what functions do you have?" said Aiden, as he stared at the message Infront of him.
As he spoke, the interface responded, displaying information about his current abilities, skills, and a status screen that detailed his physical and mental attributes.

"System, why am I level one when I have been training for months now?" said Aiden as he stared at his status window"
The system replied, "This is because the host just received the system. Typically, a level 1 host without any training will have his stats around 5 points on average. However, the host has higher stats due to his training"
"Aha, I see now. My strength, agility and endurance are very similar. However, my other stats are very high almost double my normal stats. What is the reason system"
"The charisma and luck stats are usually determined from the birth and are impossible to change for normal people. However, the host will be able to gain them when he increases his level. Regarding the Intelligence stats, this is because the host has the passive skill [Child of mana]" said the system.
"This skill increases your intelligence stats by 100%, so when strength stats gain 1 attribute every level up, your intelligence will receive 2 due to the passive skill" continue the system.
"Okay I see, can you explain how I can gain experience and points." said Aiden.
"You can gain XP by completing quests the system offers or by killing enemies which can be humans or Enigmi. The points are gained through levelling up. For every level up, the host will gain +1 point to every stat he has, and 5 allocatable points which he can allocate to any stat he wants. " Said the system.
"Okay, so it's basically like a game. I get the hang of it now " said Aiden, as he checked other system functions.
After some time, he found that the system has inventory, which he can store non-living things. He tried storing his sword, Zulfiqar and just by thinking about it, it disappeared from his hands and appeared in the inventory interface.
"This is quite convenient, it will be very helpful when storing food and other necessities." said Aiden, as he continue surveying the system.
As he pressed on Zulfiqar in the inventory, the description of the sword was shown.

As he stared at the description of the sword Aiden realised he hit a jackpot when he picked this sword as his weapon from the treasury of the academy for students.
"I knew that this sword was different from the rest, it must have been thought to be a normal sword. So they put it in the treasure for students" thought Aiden to himself.
The rarity of items was graded in stars with 1 star being the lowest type of magical item and 15 stars being the highest. However, The current strongest item is a magic wand that one of the strongest defenders Magnus Novachronos holds, it has a star rating of 9 stars.
There was also a quest section in the system. However, Aiden was not able to see anything in it as there was no quests give by the system yet.
"With this advancement in the system, my strength will skyrocket very fast. Thankfully, I took the risk to gather more parts of the artifact, otherwise i would not have gained so much."
