a year ago...

I came back home from my friend's house after visiting, it was about dark maybe 7 or so but they dropped me off so that was okay with mom and dad. I didn't want to go home that day, I just felt like avoiding it all together but mom said that I had be there because it was a school night and that I could sleep over on the weekend,geting home that day didn't feel any different than usual although I didn't hear much noise which was very odd since my sister should have busy playing music in her room. I unlocked my door, no sooner had i done that when I heard a bang and piercing pain In my arm ,I wanted to scream but someone put their hand on my mouth and covered it, I was turned only to see my dad on the ground beaten and bruised, mom and my sisters kneeling beside him looking bruised whilst my dad looked hurt and confused."why are you doing this mark?I don't care what this is but please leave my family out of this ".my dad pleaded ,that's when I noticed auncle mark sitting on my dad's favorite rocker, swinging back and forth, along with him there were five other guys wearing suits and each holding a gun in their hands. "It's because you betrayed us and this is what you get for that betrayal "auncle mark replied causing dad to be even more confused but be he could ask mark took out a gun and shot dad through the heart. "No"my mom screamed and started shaking dad "Julian?Julian please wake up".even with my mom and sisters begging him with tears in their eyes dad didn't wake up .Amisd all this mess mom looked up and finally saw me, she got up and tried running to me but was shot before she could even take a step towards me"lacxine".she took her last breath with my name and then she went silent.
