NEW ME PART 7

A villain huh?,I always thought they were the best when I was little to the point of saying I wanted it be my career when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up.

But actually becoming a real one even though I haven't done anything and a dangerous one at that was too much.

Indigo explained everything to me but somehow even she herself didn't know how or why I had ended up on earth instead.

To put it simply, I was the demon lord or in this case the demon god that everyone else had been waiting for, for over fifty years now.

"But I don't understand, why couldn't another one just came if I didn't?", I mean I wasn't the only one right?.

"Well that's hard to explain really and with how things work nobody really knows but it is essential for the current demon lord to be defeated before another one can take its place," Even she looked at a loss herself.

Anyways enough of that, as my mentor taught me 'The only accurate way to find answers is if you start seeking them yourself'.

Now let's see what my other me said, if I focus enough I'll be able to feel it.

I close my and take a deep breath, I try to feel what Indigo told me is called soul energy, they should just call it magic honestly but according to Indigo magic doesn't exist in this world, just soul energy. It works like magic but the difference is that magic uses mana but the other uses another type of energy that I can't make heads of it.

After a while of trying, I still couldn't feel anything as I was about to open my eyes I remembered something.

Back when I was little, when ever I had a panic attack or was upset about something I used to close my eyes and listen to my heart beat until I came down.

So I tried doing exactly that, the whole forest went quite and all I could hear was the beating of my heart until it started to slowly fade away too.

When I opened my eyes I wasn't in the forest anymore instead I was a in dark place. In the middle there was this bright gold white color of energy.

It looked and felt strong but weak at the same time.

I walked closer and saw some purple lighting in it as well. With no idea of what to do, I touched the energy.

At first it felt cold and then started get warm until it was boiling, i tried removing my hand but it was of no use instead it got even more hot.

This was bad! This was really bad.

After what feel like hours but was only seconds in reality it stopped and i opened my eyes and lay on the ground in pain.

"Master are you alright?", I heard indigo's worried voice." Am alright just feeling cooked thats all ".

"Cooked?"

Indigo probably didn't get it but that was the only way I could define it.

The pain stopped and I stood back up, I felt lighter than before like I could jump as high as I wanted.

I started running around and it was true I was really faster than before.

"Congratulations Master, for unlocking your soul energy," I heard from Indigo, she looked quite pleased with what I've done." Now it's time for you to start training," she said smiling but there was a certain glint in her eyes that gave me the shivers.

What ever it was I knew I wasn't going to like it and I was right.
