"We will meet again"

As Luck approached the man he lifted his fist into the air. Just as the man turned to look at him he crashed right into him, his fist tearing through the white mask.

Luck rolled into the dirt tumbling a few meters before he slowed down.

He turned to look at the man, who was still standing firmly as though he was unmoved by Luck's attack.

As the white mask fell off his face it revealed a man with graying hair and sharp golden eyes. A bright smile spread across his face before he spoke.

"Can't a man have a little fun these days?"

A single glance was what it took for Luck to realize what this man was.

Another psychopath.

Luck charged forward, Dynamo enhancing his speed.

He moved with vigour and delivered a ferocious kick that slammed against the man's hand as he blocked the attack. But before he began to descend he threw many others that were easily blocked by the man.

Luck dashed to the side spinning to punch him behind his knees but his hand just helplessly bounced against his leg.

He moved again throwing punches and blows as fast as he could, with as much strength as he could. He had to end the fight right then and there.

But the man simply blocked every single one of his attacks, all while laughing.

And then the man was gone, the echoing sound of his laughter filling the air.

A cold chilling voice slipped into Luck's ears shortly after.

"Pick your fights kid."

There was brief pause.

"We will meet again someday."

A shiver ran through Luck's spike as he felt the cold breath of the man behind him, and then he was gone.

Actually gone this time.

A muffled scream broke Luck out of the trance. He ran to the box than the man had left, he could hear someone weakly banging on the box from the inside.

Diana…

The box was extremely small, she probably couldn't move much of her body in that thing and at the top of the box as if to mock her there were three breathing holes bored into them.

She was being treated worse than you would treat an animal.

Luck was beyond disgusted.

With one heavy punch, he shattered the edge of the wooden box, careful to not injure Diana in the process.

As the box fell apart, a girl curled up into a ball could be seen sobbing in the rubble.

Luck bent down to a knee and shook her shoulder as gently as he could.

"Diana… It's me."

Slowly she opened her eyes, her beautiful eyes flooding with relief as she saw him.

She hugged him tightly and cautious glanced around. Luck could feel her small body shivering in his grasps, her tears soaking up his shirt.

"Is he gone?" She asked in a barely audible voice.

"Yes. You're alright now."

Luck could only imagine how torturous it must have been being trapped in such a small dark space not knowing where you were going or what plans your captor had in store for you…

What did he say or do while she was in the box?

'He was about to set the box on fire…'

He had received a rude awakening, there were psychopaths in this world as well and this one outclassed him by far.

But a part of him was relieved, he had gotten to her on time.

Luck sat in his room staring at the stars on the ceiling.

After he found Diana he delivered her to Ella who took over from there. He specifically told her to not include anything about him when relating the story to the clan so currently they knew what happened, albeit a slightly altered version.

Since she couldn't completely lie to the clan heirs, she simply told them that someone managed to rescue Diana.

In order to keep the reputation of the three clans intact the story was put under wraps, only the people involved in the incident actually knew what happened.

It would be shameful to admit that someone got kidnapped within the very vicinity of the moon clan, even though it was fairly far from the main clan building.

And news about a clan heir getting kidnapped would rub the scarlet clan the wrong way, painting their heir as weak.

The earth clan wouldn't be spared either, after all their heir was there when it happened, why couldn't she do a thing?

Those were probably be the thoughts on their minds, forgetting that the people involved were literally children. It was a harsh reality for the clan heirs, far too much was expected of them.

The wearabouts of the masked man was still unkown. Since the guards reported no suspicious activity at the gates it meant that the man was someone among the guests.

Luck was sure he would not make another move though, after all the security in the moon clan was multiplied and the activities of the guests were closely monitored.

But who was he?

He was incredibly strong, far too strong to be a simple goon or nobody. He had to be someone important among the clans. That simply meant that somewhere among the clans there was a psychopath moving freely.

The very thought of it made Luck's blood boil.

Due to what happened, Diana and Ella were no longer allowed to roam around the estate. If they were going anywhere they would be accompanied by elite members of their respective clans.

They could no longer meet up.

As for Chari, even as much as he wanted to Luck could not keep the news from him for long, eventually he found out.

Luck thought the moment he did he would have bust out of the room in search of who the psycho was but surprisingly he seemed to be handling it better than Luck.

'How strange.'

Chari stood panthing heavily, his shirt was utterly soaked and he was only standing with the support of his staff. He had come out to train after he heard the news of what happened.

On his way he met a few guards who eventually let him go on with his training. He didn't bother about hiding it anymore, after all not many people even knew who he was. To some he was just a very important child in the clan.

Chari had to get stronger as fast as he could.

The thought of the serial killer made his heart beat faster, his hand trembled in anger and he slammed his staff against the tree once more.

"Not bad."

A calm voice cut through the air.

Chari then turned to see a boy standing at the top of a tree. He adorned a wooden mask that covered the entirety of his face, even his eyes were replaced by eerie shadows.

His white hair billowed in the wind, his hands clasped behind his back.

Chari could tell easily, he was strong.

"Who are you?"

There was a short period of silence.

"Me?"

"You can call me Elder."
