After losing everything at the age of seven Chari develops a split personality or rather a second him is born within himself. Although they shared many similarities there were many difference between them, one of them being his alter's propensity for violence. 

Chari and his alter, Luck, later find themselves once again in a tango with death which they inevitably lose but in that moment of grief they are suddenly reborn as twins into world plagued by a brutal war between civilization and the Phantoms. 

In a world with scheming clans, murderous elves and lustful beastfolk they will have to do everything in their power to adapt or die.

Spurred by Luck's words it propelled itself from the ceiling. Combining its thrust to the force of gravity, the creature blazed towards Luck, lustful hunger burning in its eyes.

It's descent was fast, but not nearly fast enough.

By virtue of being an artifact, Luck's sword, [Wind Forge] had four enchantments. The first one was [nature of wind] which was what made the blade unnaturally light. Just like the wind, the blade was so light that it almost felt weightless in his hands.

Not only did this make him far faster, it also meant that he could swing the sword for prolonged periods without feeling warry.

The second enchantment was [unbreaking]. Just like its name suggested this enchant had to do with the durability of the blade. Luck had no way of testing how much force it could take but he was very sure that Alaiana wasn't exaggerating when she said the blade could take whatever technique he could throw at it.
