Chapter 13: Late Entrance

10/19/2012

-OLIVIA-

"Finally over and done with!" Sandra exclaimed with relief as she scattered all the assignment papers into the floor making Jo and I pick up the mess she made. We just finished answering our assignments that've been given to us so we could enjoy our weekend with ease. The teacher really didn't hold back in giving us such work. The library is full at this time since classes are over and it's free time now so we settled in the lobby for now and besides Lucas and the others might not find us here.

"Sandra, it is fine to be happy about it but could you do it in a less messy way as possible?" Jo Ginger said as she picked up the final piece of paper, now all that's left is to arrange these.

"I'm exhausted, I can't believe my body is still aching because of that swimming demonstration." I said as I tried to stretch to make it less achy.

"Oh! that time when you almost drowned but got saved like a damsel in distress you are?" Sandra sarcastically said, as Jo Ginger and her tried to reenact the scene wherein I got saved by Stephen. Huh... that reminds me, I haven't thanked him properly yet and I'm still confused about him calling me 'Liv'.

"I'm sorry I didn't warm up okay? I already got an earful from Mrs. Gibson for that yesterday." I said as I shuddered at the scary thought of Mrs. Gibson giving me a lecture for who knows how long.

"You better be sorry, We were really worried sick for you." Jo Ginger said she gave me a hug

"Wait a sec, since classes are over now so it's free time, right?" Sandra asked as if a thought came in to her

"Yeah, what about it?" I said as I tilted my head in confusion but somehow Jo Ginger seems to get what Sandra is trying to tell.

"Don't you have a club? Aren't you late for that?" Jo Ginger said which made me widened my eyes and panic occurs

"I'M LATE!" I exclaimed as pick up my things and bolted out of the lobby hearing Sandra's goodluck and Jo Ginger's goodbye

My entrance was very late

My feelings are still the same

For you, it will never change

Like a bird trapped in a cage
