IT IS TIME

“Master says it’s finally time,” Erbia declared, storming into the chamber.

The room was a vast expanse of darkness, its boundaries obscured by jagged rock formations and sluggish rivers of molten lava. Heat thickened the air, distorting the space like a fevered dream. The scent of brimstone clung to every breath.

“Finally,”Avari exhaled, his lips curling into a predatory grin. His sharp teeth gleamed as he ran his tongue along their edges, eyes flickering with a deep, insatiable hunger. “I was beginning to think we’d be trapped for another few centuries. I can’t wait to rip into those pathetic little creatures.”

Across the room, Ace remained slumped over a jagged stone table, his head resting against his folded arms. His voice was sluggish, as if every word drained him. “Do we have to? It’s quiet here… peaceful.”
