Chapter 76 Guilt trip

Gon had to stop fishing for now. He will help Sullivan and Hermione to get out of the forest. for him getting in and getting out was a small matter. but to them, It would be a big problem.

He couldn't let them lost in the forest right. If they were attacked and killed by foxbears. He won't be able to forgive himself.

Sullivan who was a fan of HxH anime couldn't help but look at Gon in every detail. this was the first time he was in the anime world.

'He looked real but the characteristic of the anime character still there his hair is spiky but how should I say… smooth'

It was like he was watching a movie that had a very smooth CG.

"I know what you thinking Sol but please hold it in."

"Yeah I will"

Sullivan took a deep breath.

The two followed Gon on the way to the outskirt they introduce themselves to each other. Gon and Sullivan hit it off. Gon even ask Hermione if she perhaps know anyone in her family line that had the same surname as him.

But too bad, she didn't know anyone that had the same surname as him.

"That is the way out of the forest If Sullivan-san and Hermione-san walk that way you will reach the village."

Gon looked reluctant to part with them. even though they were older than him but they still could be friends. Gon didn't have any friends here He like to be in the forest more than he did in the local school.

"Okay, but are you really don't want to come with us. To thank you I will buy you a meal!"

Sullivan spoke to Gon eagerly. Gon thought for a moment.

"I want to but… I need to catch the king of the swamp…"

He didn't have much time before the ship will arrive. He can't miss it otherwise he will have to wait for it again in a very long time.

Sullivan heard him. He smiled before speaking.

"Oh, that giant fish you talking about. Well, It won't go anywhere right. you can catch it later I will help you catch it. but now just come with us okay"

Hermione saw how eager Sullivan was. she couldn't help but want to help him.

She thought for a bit before she touched his shoulder and said.

"Sol. If he isn't willing to go with us you shouldn't force him."

"Awww. Sis but I want to talk to him about how to become a Hunter. We want to be a hunter too isn't that right."

"That's…Yeah but"

Gon felt guilty. He couldn't help but smiled and speak to the two.

"I will go with you I still have time to catch it later."

"He such a good kid. Sis can we bring him home"

Gon was tricked easily. Hermione now was the one who felt guilty tricking such an innocent child. She guilt trip herself.

But all is good if Sullivan is happy.

Gon then became a guide for the two. there wasn't much mention in anime or manga about this island.

"It's so beautiful"

Sullivan and Hermione couldn't believe how beautiful this island was. the sky the sea cleanse of any pollution.

People on this island work as fishers because of the bountiful fishes and seashells in the sea.

The three walk around until there is no place left to explore.

The last place they were walking to is his house.

"This is my house. I live with my aunt and grandma!"

Sullivan looked at his house with amazement. it was a very simple two-story building but the view behind it was very mesmerizing.

"Is it okay for us to intrude?"

Sullivan asked unsure if it was okay. They were just met today be he already trusted them enough to bring them home.

"It's okay!"

Gon went inside his house and gestured to them to follow him inside.

Hermione looked at Sullivan before she spoke to him.

"I felt guilty Sol we just trick this little kid. He is too innocent!"

Sullivan nodded He felt the same as her but.

"It is for the greater good."

Hermione heard him say that. She couldn't help but sigh.

"Again for the greater good…I really want to smack the old goat if he wasn't dead already… please don't have him as your role model."

Sullivan nodded and shrugged.

"Yup. Not gonna happen."
