Chapter 77 Hospitality

Sullivan and Hermione followed Gon inside his house. There's a grandma talking to him. When she saw Gon brought his friend home. She was very happy.

"Hello dear. please come inside I will prepare tea and snack for you."

Sullivan and Hermione want to refuse but look at how happy she was. They couldn't help but agree.

"Sullivan-san Hermione-san please come this way!"

Gon led the two to the second floor. there was a balcony there.

On the balcony there was a table and chairs for them to sit. not long after the grandma brought them snacks and tea.

"Enjoy your stay if you want anything just ask me."

Grandma then went downstairs to rest.

Sullivan and Hermione looked at each other. He sent a text to her. Even though they were near each other they could still communicate through chat.

Sullivan: She is very strong Sis. Did you feel her power?

Hermione: Yes. It looks like Nen is similar to magic but somehow different. Magic is based on mind, intent, and spirit while Nen is based on mind, intent, spirit, and…life force. though the life force restricts versatility. but the power was more potent.

Sullivan nodded who would have thought Gon's grandma that wasn't mentioned in the story was a nen-user. and very powerful one at that.

She must feel their power too but because we are Gon friends and didn't have malicious intent towards her grandson so she didn't mind them.

After the chat. Sullivan Hermione and Gon ate snacks and drank tea together. 

The snack was made from potato and honey while the tea had a smell of Jasmine.

The three while having snacks and drinking tea talked about how to become a hunter.

Sullivan didn't tell him anything because He didn't know if the test will be the same or not. He didn't forget that this HxH was an Au one.

"Tadaima!"

A young woman's voice resounds from the first floor. when the three finish speaking about how to become a hunter. Gon told them about the ship and the condition that his aunt gave to him if he want to be a hunter.

He needed to catch the king of the swamp by himself.

Gon heard the sound he knew who the woman was. Sullivan too because he watched this anime again and again. both old version and new version.

Gon house here is from the new version mixed with the old version. So this is some kind of Au too.

"Oh, that's Aunt Mito. I will go and help her a bit please wait"

Gon wanted to help his aunt and told her about Sullivan and Hermione.

Sullivan who heard him stood up.

"How can I do that I will also help too."

"Me too."

Sullivan wanted to help because he want to see Mito while Hermione was just being considerate.

Gon wanted to refuse and told them that it was okay but Mito walked up to the second floor when she heard that Gon brought his friends over from her mother.

She also wanted to know which friend of Gon. She knew that he didn't have friends here only animals in the forest were considered his friends.

'Foreigners?'

Mito was surprised. She didn't think that the friends of Gon that her mother mentioned to her were foreigners.

"Hello, Mito-san my name is Sullivan Morningstar. Gon had helped me a lot when I and my sister lost in the woods. He then became our guide and when we told him that we didn't have a place to hit the night. He offers to host us. but of course, He will ask you first."

Mito smiled at how polite Sullivan was and his noble manner. 

Hermione also introduces herself too.

"My name is Mito Freecss as Gon must have mentioned about me. and I don't mind the two of you staying over please enjoy your stay here."

Mito is very kind and she had a similar sense as Gon. She knew how to measure people. Gin must have taught her something before He left Gon with her care. There's no way someone as famous as him would not care about his family.

His mother was one of the proofs of that.
