Chapter 380 Powerful pair of eyes

Sirzechs noticed that Riser had looked at him and smirked at him like he was his equal.

He couldn't help but frown. He didn't know what was inside that head of his to dare look at him like that.

'Phenex family… I think it should be the time I show them that their false immortality means nothing but shit.'

He really wanted to destroy them with his power of destruction.

However, he had to hold back, as it would make his job even more difficult.

He could suppress them with his strength, but by doing that, he would never find peace.

"Let's see if you can still be this smirk when you face him. I was really lucky that he was chill when I went to check on him."

Sirzechs thought about the day when he went to check on him.

If he wasn't a chilling dude, He might have destroyed him.

He knew that he was even stronger than Ophis from Grayfia, which meant that he was a walking calamity, the worldender, or even more.

Sirzechs then didn't pay any attention to Riser, and he decided to talk with his friends instead.

Riser felt annoyed when Sirzechs didn't pay any attention to him anymore.

He swore to himself that he would play with Rias as much as he wanted today.

"Rias must be mine today. Riser will show everyone that Yokai is far inferior to the devil."

Riser released his power, and the heat began to radiate off of him, causing the ground to crack beneath his feet.

The devils on the stand watched in awe as Riser's power continued to grow.

They could sense his power and they was shocked that Riser had reached ultimate class.

Rias, Koneko, and Akeno felt his power and were worried about Sullivan for a second before they remembered who he was.

"Even though he has become stronger than me, I don't think that is enough to win against him."

Rias said, and both Koneko and Akeno nodded in agreement.

"Sullivan is super strong. He will never lose."

Koneko had absolute faith in Sullivan's strength.

"Yes, I also think the same as Koneko-chan. That power might be enough to defeat us, but it is not enough to fight against Sullivan."

Akeno felt hot when she remembered the beating that Sullivan gave her.

Rias and Koneko looked at her carefully and decided not to comment on her behavior. They knew that she was a lost cause.

Riser still felt great with his power, but it was unknown to him that someone was looking at him from somewhere with a very powerful pair of eyes.

Kunou was bored as she was waiting for her new dad to show up on the stage.

She wasn't as strong as Yasaka, so she couldn't tell where Sullivan was right now.

"Okaa-chan, when is Otou-chan going to come to the stage…"

Yasaka looked at her daughter and said,

"He will arrive soon. I can feel his presence nearby."

Hearing that, Kunou perked up and looked around. She couldn't feel his presence like Yasaka did.

Only those who received his divine power would know his location.

And when Kunou was about to complain about her dad breaking his promise to her, Someone appeared behind her and whispered into her ears.

"Are you looking for me? Kunou."

Kunou was startled when she heard someone speaking closely to her. And when she saw that it was Sullivan, she became very happy.

She jumped at him and hugged him.

"Daddy!"

Yasaka smiled at him and thanked him for coming to see her and Kunou when he had to go and fight with Riser.

"You should go to the stage. They are going to call for you soon,"

Yasaka said, gesturing towards the stage where Riser was showing off his power.

Sullivan smirked a little, then said something to her.

"You don't have to worry about that. You two take a look at the stage again, and you will know."

Sullivan pointed at the stage with his chin. Yasaka and Kunou looked toward the stage and were shocked to see that Sullivan was there as well.

"How?"

Yasaka could sense that the two of them were real.

"Well, I am at two places at the same time. It is a little bit hard to control, but it is doable."

Sullivan's eyes were now purple and had so many rings in it.

Both Yasaka and Kunou just noticed them, and they couldn't help but ask him.

"What happened to Daddy's eyes?"

Sullivan smiled and said it to her with pride. It was pretty hard to awaken it, but he pulled it through.

"These eyes are called Rinnegan. I will explain to both of you while we watch myself beat him."

Sullivan carried Kunou to sit down on the sofa that Serafall had prepared for them.

Kunou sat on his lap. Yasaka didn't want to sit on the sofa, but instead she hugged him from behind and rested her chin on his shoulder.

His eyes looked scary to everyone but to her and her daughter it was cool and mysterious. Sullivan began to explain the history and power of the Rinnegan, as Kunou and Yasaka listened intently.

They didn't think that such a pair of eyes could be so captivating and powerful. They could even bring the dead back to life!
