After a three-hour drive, we arrived in Westmont. Uncle Ray parked the car in front of the first church we found. It was so old and grand that we couldn't decide whether to go in, and we were sure Paula's brother was there.
Uncle Ray was alert when he entered the church and asked me to stay close to him.
He was so overprotective that he still treated me like a child, and although sometimes I get annoyed with his attitude, for once, I felt like he looked manly with his overprotectiveness.
"What did your best friend say, Ioris? What are the special features of where her brother is?" asked Uncle Ray when we were inside the church, circling our eyes to find the spot Paula had mentioned.
"In a basement that can be accessed through one of the pews."
