Day 6 in the Abyss: Two Kisses….

"Anyway, enough of that" Azzy said as she patted Tod's head. "Lay on my lap"

Tod looked at her, slightly puzzled but not wanting to refuse. He hesitated for a moment before lowering himself to rest his head on Azzy's lap. Her warmth and the softness of her touch made him feel unexpectedly at ease.

Aranya settled down beside them, her expression softening as she watched them. "Sometimes it's good to take a break, Tod. The abyss will still be here when you're ready."

"I know, ever since i came here, i felt more happy i guess, well it beats being lonely…And abandoned" he silently muttered the last parts, but both Azzy and Aranya could hear him.

"tsk, do you know why i told you to leave the first time i met you and not outright attack you" Aranya asked.

"why?" He asked curiously as he succumbed more to Azzy's gentle touches.

"Well you didn't seem hostile…and maybe because i saw some of your memories when i was communicating with you, to some outer beings it is nothing, but to me you just felt lost in your old world…but you found yourself liking the abyss more" Tod's eyes widened slightly at Aranya's revelation. "You saw my memories?"

Aranya nodded. "Only glimpses, but enough to understand your loneliness. This place, strange as it is, seems to resonate with your soul. Maybe it's because the abyss doesn't judge, it simply exists."

Azzy continued to gently stroke Tod's hair, her fingers weaving through the strands soothingly. "We're all a bit lost in our own ways, Tod. But that's why we have each other now. No one needs to face the abyss alone."

"…And how long have you been alone Azzy" She giggled as he asked that question. "Well before you came, i would sleep for years and years, but now i think your presence made me want to stay up more, To say i might have developed an obsession with keeping an eye on you would be an understatement," she confessed with a playful smile. "You've become a bit of a mystery I can't quite solve, and that's intriguing."

"Is that a compliment?" Azzy chuckled, her fingers stilling for a moment as she looked down at Tod. "Take it however you like. But yes, it is. You bring a kind of energy here that's refreshing. And maybe, just maybe, it makes the abyss feel a little less dark."

Tod felt a warmth spread through him at her words. "I never thought I'd be the type to make anyone's life better, let alone in a place like this."

Aranya added in. "Yeah it is suprising not going to lie, never thought i would lose a challenge after all these years" She was still upset losing to him..

"Come on Aranya, don't be a sore loser" Tod said with a smirk.

"…I could bite you for that, you know," Aranya replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "But I suppose I'll let it slide this time."

"Hmm, taming two outer beings is impressive" Azzy said, Tod didn't really want to think of them as animals…but the way she put it made him chuckle.

"Glad you think so. I guess I'm just lucky you both haven't decided to make me your new chew toy."

Aranya snorted, a grin spreading across her face. "Oh, I wouldn't go that far. Besides, you've earned your place here, even if it's been a bit unconventional."

"And how is that unconventional?, Also why did you tell me to lay on your lap Azzy?" Azzy gave a soft laugh, brushing her fingers gently against Tod's forehead. "Well, I suppose telling someone to rest on your lap isn't exactly the norm, even in the abyss. But you looked like you needed comfort, and I wanted to offer it in the most direct way I could. Sometimes physical closeness can be more healing than words."

"…So you wanted an excuse to keep me all to yourself while Aranya is here?" She didn't answer but it was obvious, For some reason Azzy felt like a mother meeting her child for the first time.

Aranya watched with a soft smile, her eyes reflecting a mixture of amusement and warmth. "It's rare to see Azzy this maternal," she said lightly. "But I suppose you've become something of a special case for her."

"Didn't you use to drag down the sky islands" Azzy raised an eyebrow looking at her.

"…I was in a bad mood at that time, Being a giant Octopus Levaithan for a few years doesn't exactly make you think straight Aranya admitted with a hint of embarrassment.

Azzy chuckled. "I can imagine. That must have been quite a phase."

"Definitely. And yet, it's surprising how things can change," Aranya said, looking over at Tod. "Who would have thought that a simple Being like you would come along and shake things up so much?"

Tod smiled, feeling a mix of gratitude and disbelief. "I'm just glad I've found a place where I belong, even if it's in the middle of an abyss."

Aranya's eyes softened. "You've brought something different here, Tod. A kind of light that none of us anticipated."

Azzy looked down at Tod with a warm smile. "Yes, and even if we're in the abyss, it feels like we're starting to create something new together. A family of sorts, perhaps."

"And what should we call this family" Tod rolled his eyes playfully.

Aranya brought her face closer to his, she was now towering above him. "hmm, We can think about it later, but first i want to know how a kiss feels like~"

Tod's eyes widened, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "A kiss?" he stammered, caught off guard by Aranya's sudden proximity.

Azzy, still holding Tod's head gently on her lap, smirked and playfully ruffled his hair. "Oh, Aranya, you're going to scare him off with that kind of talk."

Aranya's grin widened. "What? I'm just curious. It's not every day you get the chance to experience something so… human."

Tod gulped, trying to gather his thoughts. "Well, uh, it's… It's kind of a personal thing, isn't it? I mean, a kiss is… special."

"That's exactly why I'm interested," Aranya said, her tone both teasing and earnest. "It's something different, something intimate. And in this abyss, intimacy is rare."

Azzy chuckled, her fingers tracing soothing circles on Tod's temple. "Don't worry, Tod. Aranya's just being playful. Though, if you're curious too, there's no harm in exploring new experiences."

Tod's heart raced. He glanced up at Azzy, then back at Aranya. "I suppose… If it helps us understand each other better, then maybe it's not such a bad idea."

Aranya's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Well then, let's see what all the fuss is about."

Before Tod could overthink it, Aranya leaned in and pressed her lips softly against his. The sensation was strange, but not unpleasant. There was a warmth, a connection that felt both foreign and familiar.

When she pulled back, Tod blinked, a bit dazed. "That was… different."

"Yes it was, and now you are mine, but Azzy still hasn't kissed you yet" Aranya said playfully. "hmm, well you did interrupt me a day agowhen I was about to do the same," Azzy replied with a sly smile.

Tod's eyes widened again as he looked up at Azzy. "Wait, you were going to kiss me?"

Azzy nodded, her expression softening. "Yes, I was. But I wanted it to be a moment just between us, not something rushed."

Aranya chuckled and leaned back, giving them space. "Go on, then. Don't let me interrupt."

Azzy gently lifted Tod's head, her eyes locking with his. "Are you okay with this, Tod?" she asked softly.

He nodded, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Yeah, I'm okay with it."

Azzy leaned down, her lips meeting his in a gentle, lingering kiss. It was warm and tender, a contrast to Aranya's more curious approach. Tod felt a sense of calm wash over him, as if in that moment, everything in the abyss made sense.

When they finally broke apart, Tod let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "That was… nice."

Azzy smiled, her eyes shining with affection. "I'm glad you think so."

Aranya clapped her hands together, breaking the intimate moment. "Well, now that we've all had our bonding time, what's next on the agenda?"

"Well we could go visit Yog, But Nyrlo maybe there and i don't want Tod going near that Annoying brother of mine" Her brother, Nyrlathothep, unlike the members of her quote family, she looked more human than all of them, and she inherited her father's sleepiness…

"Cthullu could be there" Aranya thought with scorn calling her father by his name. Tod who closed his eyes to enjoy the moment felt he might or might not get haited by both…but would outer gods care about each other….Well Azzy and Aranya seems to care about him despite meeting each other for a short while…
