Chapter 392: A Feast for the Eyes

"Wukong, stop messing around..." Tang Sanzang reproached Sun Wukong and then whispered to the monk, "My disciple is somewhat impatient, do not speak too much to him."

The monk shivered and thought to himself, "With such an ugly and weird-looking face, why would one take him as a disciple?" Then he saw Li Xu, who had a pleasing appearance, and his expression gradually softened. He then led Tang Sanzang through the monastery gate without saying anything more.

As they entered, the enormity of the monastery's structure unfolded before them, with its many layered halls and pavilions arranged in a well-ordered fashion. There were also towering drum towers and stupas aligned along the path. The whole place exuded a serene and tranquil ambience, even the chirping of birds in the shady trees sounded soothing and melodious.

Reaching the main hall, they saw a plaque that read: Guanyin Zen Monastery.
