A month had passed as Lin reached one of the only two sacred land in the Earth realm, The Apocalyptic Sacred Land. In this month, Cultivating while travelling had made Lin broke through 2nd rank of Earth light rank and his battle power was now comparable to Earthly Bounds 9th rank and if he became serious and used all his means in a fight or battle then Lin can even give Earthly king 1st and 2nd rank a run for their money.

Lin was now in a desert called Man-eating desert walking in the remote never ending desert of the Sacred Land. Suddenly, The sand started tremble as Lin sensed a danger to himself underneath him as he jumped back and a gaint 20m large sand worm emerged from underneath the sand where Lin was standing.

Lin immediately took out his sword from the system space and pointed the tip towards the Sand Worm as he rushed towards it and performed various and several deadly slashes to the Sand Worm.

But, There were not even a single cut or even a scratch on its body as The Sand Worm released a big sonic wave from its mouth which put Lin's mind in confusion as he started to bleed from his ears and nose.

The Sand Worm rushed towards Lin while he was weakened and in a daze state but before it could reach Lin. It got punched and was sent flying 100s of meter by the Puppet that Lin got as a consolation gift from System.

Lin came out from the state of confusion as he sheath his sword and sat down on the sand trying to recover himself as he wiped off the blood coming from his nose and ears. After being thrown 100s of meters The Sand Worm balanced itself as it came rushing towards the puppet but was kicked in the side of its face as it's head swing to the side.

The Puppet disappeared and reappeared above The Sand Worms head and slammed its heels on The Sand worms head as it's body slammed down in the sand.

The Puppet reappeared near Lin as The Sand Worm raised it's head again and a ball of light started to be formed in the middle of its mouth.

The Puppet pointed it's middle finger towards the worm as a ball of light was formed on the tip of its finger as the ball of light shot towards The Sand Worm as the beam of light sliced its body in half and a large blast happened. The Puppet came infront of Lin and shielded him from the blast creating a protective golden barrier infront of both of them. After the explosion subsided, Lin saw it's aftermath as more than hundreds of miles of desert was completely and utterly destroyed.

The puppet bowed to Lin as it went invisible again protecting him from shadows. The half of the body of The Sand Worm was still intanct even after the explosion as it's cultivation was of Saint king 9th rank. Lin took the half intact core of the sand worm and started his journey again.

After 3 days of travelling and escaping from the desert, Lin reached the city of Anur as he took a room in the inn. He had come to this city because he heard a tournament was going to be held here in a few weeks time as In his previous life, he had heard about the tournament but he didn't come because he was weak to represent his Holy Land.
