"Are you ever going to introduce me to Serena?" Skylar asked, leaning back from his microscope with a sly grin.

Aiden sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "Nope. Not until we're married again. I can't risk you going all out and spilling every single one of our past escapades to her. She thinks I'm a good guy, okay? Let's keep it that way."

Skylar raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms as he leaned against the lab bench. "Do you seriously think I'd do something to jeopardize your relationship? That hurts, Aiden. Also, good guy? Is she blind or something? If you're a good guy then the rest of the world our saints..."

Aiden mirrored the stance, arms folding over his chest as he gave Skylar a pointed look. "I don't really care about the other. But, you've already betrayed me once. Do you really think I'm dumb enough to risk it happening again?"

Skylar's face twisted in mock indignation. "When, exactly, did I ever betray you?"
