#### X-Men Universe

"Yes, those are Sentinel robots!" Wolverine's voice was filled with a complex mix of emotions. He couldn't help but recall the harrowing scenes of mutants being slaughtered by Sentinels, which made his fists clench involuntarily. The footage on the screen was just the tip of the iceberg. The war between mutants and Sentinels was far more brutal and heart-wrenching. In a little over five years, mutants had been decimated, with only about a hundred survivors barely hanging on. For Wolverine, it had been a nightmare.

"These Sentinels were created using Mystique's genes?" Charles Xavier's voice was even more somber. While Tony Stark from the neighboring universe couldn't understand the Sentinels' shape-shifting principles, the mutants, having heard the story from Wolverine, understood instantly. They knew the Sentinels had copied Mystique's abilities, allowing them to change their forms at will.

Yet, even with this knowledge, Charles hadn't anticipated that the Sentinels would be this formidable. They were more powerful and despair-inducing than any enemy Charles had ever encountered. Average mutants stood no chance, and even he and Erik, who could counter most mutants, were helpless against the Sentinels. Charles's telepathic abilities were useless against non-human entities like the Sentinels. As for Erik, Charles was sure the Sentinels weren't made of metal, making them immune to his control.

For the first time, the two leading mutants were rendered powerless, even if they joined forces. Regular mutants, as shown in the video, were also utterly suppressed by the Sentinels. The Sentinels were terrifying, and Charles now fully understood why his future self had to send Wolverine back in time to change the future. Determinedly, Charles resolved that this mission must succeed at all costs.

#### The Boys Universe

At Godolkin University, in Golden Boy's dorm room, the group of friends, including Andre, Cate, and Jordan, were visibly unsettled. Golden Boy, the group's de facto leader, was equally disturbed. "Sentinel robots? What are those?" Jordan paced back and forth, looking at the others. "Is the government secretly developing robots to fight us? This is insane."

Jordan's reaction was understandable. The Sentinel robots shown in the video were excessively powerful, making most superheroes look like amateurs. Even Golden Boy, the strongest at the school and a near-certain future member of the Seven, seemed powerless against them. The video clearly showed a fire-powered individual, possibly stronger than Golden Boy, being easily defeated by the Sentinels.

"Golden Boy!" Andre called, snapping Golden Boy out of his daze. He looked around, realizing everyone was looking at him for guidance, as usual. But for once, Golden Boy had no answers. "I don't know what to say," he admitted. "Are we sure no one else can see this?"

The others nodded in agreement. They had confirmed multiple times that only they could see the mysterious video. Jordan looked at Cate. "Cate, I know we've asked before, but are you sure you're not behind this?"

Cate raised her hands, exasperated. "For the last time, I always wear gloves!" Her mind control powers required physical contact to activate, which is why she wore gloves all the time. "Jordan, what are you thinking? This has nothing to do with Cate," Golden Boy chastised. He was sure of her innocence.

"Maybe we're overreacting," Cate suggested. "It's just a video. We don't have to take it seriously."

Andre, however, disagreed. "If it was just a video, why would we see it? Who wants us to see it?" His words hit home for everyone. Despite the bizarre and unsettling content of the videos, the inexplicable screen made it impossible to ignore.
