CHAPTER NINE

Princess Kira is sitting in her hut drinking tea when a maid walk in and bowed, "a little boy is here to see you,my princess"

"Bring him in"

The maid went to meet the little boy standing holding unto a red envelope, "follow me"

The boy follow and bowed went he got to Princess Kira, she slip her tea and gaze at the boy,"My princess, prince Luca ask me to give this to you" Princess Kira glance at the envelope while the maid took it from the boy. He bowed and left while the maid gave the envelope to Princess Kira. She open it and pull out a papr, unfold it and read the writing written on it. Her face slowly brightly up as she fold the paper and place it into the envelope.

"Kathy set my carriage, am going to the temple"

"Yes, my princess" Kathy replied and leave the scene.

Princess Kira stand up and walk out of the hut to her room. She arrange her makeup on the table and smile at her reflection on the mirror. Kathy enter the room, "My princess is Prince Luca coming with you?"

"He is coming" Princess Kira said with a smile,"This prayer will make our relationship stronger, no one will be able to separate us"

"Yes my princess, prince Luca and you are destine to be husband and wife, king and Queen of Tasara kingdom"

"Make me look beautiful for my prince"

Kathy pick the brush, dig the tip into the powder and rub it on her face. She pick up a feather and dig the pointer into a red colour and rub it on Princess Kira lips. She rub it together to smooth the color to match the upper and lower lips.

Kathy comb Princess Kira highly and massively which is on top of her head and place a blue flowering hairpin on the hair.

Princess Kira pick up a red hairpin that is on the table and stare at it then her mind went to the past.

Young Kira is planting a seed into the ground. Young Luca walk to her,"what are you doing?" Young Kira stood up to face Young Luca which is taller than her,"am planting a tree"

"We don't need tree, there are so many of them planted in the garden"

"This one is special. Soon we will be separated from each other, I will be going back to my kingdom and you and Liam will be leaving together with Master. This tree is representing our friendship, as it is growing tall so our friendship will be growing stronger and stronger. What do you think"

"It is good"

Young Luca pull out a red flowering hairpin,"keep this hairpin, it is the sign of our strong friendship. Wear it when we meet again in the future.

Princess Kira keep smiling while flowering hairpin, "Our friendship has grown more stronger, my prince"

"Are you talking to me, my princess?"

"Place this hairpin on my hair"

"Yes, my princess"

Kathy pull out the formal hairpin and place the new one on her head, "it suit you, my princess"

Princess Kira dress into a blue grown. Kathy smile widely looking at her. Princess Kira wall out of her room with elegant and confidence while Kathy follow behind.

Guards are standing at both sides of the carriage and the third guard is at the back. The horse rider is at the front together with two black horse. Princess Kira lift up her grown a little and enter the carriage.The rider gently hit the horse as they move together with the carriage.

Princess Kira presence was announced immediately as she step her foot into the temple. She was welcome by an elderly man dress in white.

"Welcome Princess Kira"

"Thank you, Priest"

"Where is Prince Luca?"

"He is coming, we will do the prayer together"

A young priest approach and he bowed, "take princess Kira to the waiting hut. Set everything ready before Prince Luca get here"

"Yes Master" he said with a bowed.

Princess Kira follow the young priest out of the scene.

Prince Luca mounted Glitter, he look at the side to see Maya, "you're not following me, Liam will bring you home"

Maya face turn pale seeing Prince Luca leaving without her. Someone touch her shoulder, she turn seeing Liam.

"He is going to fulfill the promise he made to princess Kira"

"What promise?"

"To visit the temple together to pray for their relationship to be stronger. Is it the tradition of every engaged ladies to see the husband family ancestors for blessing"

A fake smile appear on her face as she slowly move forward. Why am I sad, she is engaged to him.

Someone grab her hand,"Liam!!" she yelled with surprised face.

"Let go out"

"But Nanny..."

"Nanny Linda, Maya and I are going out. We will be back soon" he yelled out.

"Okay, Lunch will be ready by then" she scream back.

He is holding my hand. She follow him out of the compound.

Maya was overjoyed seeing different type of hairpin, she ran to the shop selling it,"wow, they are all beautiful" Maya pick up a green hairpin in the form of butterfly and was shock when the seller mention the prize. She immediately keep it,"thank you, I was just checking how beautiful it is" she said moving away from the shop but Liam didn't follow her instead he drop five gold coins on the table and take the hairpin.

Maya feel that Liam is not with her and turn to see him moving faster toward her,"why don't you buy the hairpin"

"It is too costly"

He pull out the green butterfly hairpin from his pocket, "This is for you" Maya face brightly up as she saw it,"For me!?"

Liam nods his head,"lt is for you" Maya couldn't control her happiness as she jump to hug him.

Princess Kira hears her name as she turn with a smile seeing Prince Luca walking to her then she stand up and ran to him,"I know you will come" Princess Kira said and held his hands,"I am wearing the hairpin, you gave me when we were young"

Prince Luca eyes went to her hair,"you look beautiful with it" as he planted a kiss on her forehead which make Princess Kira smile.

"Everything is set" Princess Kira said as they walk side by side together. They walk to the front of a room and pull their shoes off before entering the room. A human status in the form of king sitting on the throne and a lantern surround him with light on.

They bowed to it,"grandfather am here with Princess Kira from drew-dom kingdom, she will soon become be my wife and the future Queen of this kingdom. Bless us so that our relationship will be stronger and stronger.

Prince Luca pick up a red thread place on the hand of the status and tied it from his hand to Princess Kira hand as they knee down and bowed seven times.

They both stand up together then the priest came in and loose the red thread.

"Congratulations, the pass kings of Tasara kingdom has accepted Princess Kira as your wife and bless your relationship" Princess Kira smile as she held his hands.

"Thank you Priest, we will be going home now" Princess Kira said.

Prince Luca and Princess Kira enter the carriage. The priest smile as the carriage move out of the compound. He enter the room, his smiling face turn to surprise seeing all the lantern off.
