Sports Festival Begins

At 8 AM, feeling refreshed after a shower, I left the boys' dorm.

I stuffed my notes and phone into my tracksuit pockets, grabbed a towel, and headed toward the stadium.

After a solid workout this morning, I felt mentally and physically great.

I walked down the path, following the flow of students in their tracksuits. Everyone was chatting happily with friends, buzzing with excitement. It felt like a festival atmosphere.

But not everyone was having a good time. Some were walking alone on the sidelines.

Look there, that guy who doesn't look like he plays any sports. He's got his earbuds in, tuning out the world. He probably has no friends and definitely no girlfriend, living a lonely, sad school life, and venting his frustrations about youth.
