After homeroom, which started with the overly energetic Osmond-sensei as usual, the students lazily began to prepare for the next class.

Not that Akaya missed the chaos of events like the Mori-no-Sato campsite incident; mundane days were fine by him.

"Swordsmanship, English, Modern Literature… and Magic Studies? Finally, it's here."

In fourth period, Akaya noticed something strange on his schedule: Magic Studies.

The course name and summary had been in the curriculum, but this was the first day of this new subject.

Excitement building, Akaya breezed through his earlier classes, carefully taking notes and finishing his assignments, before heading to a new building for the much-anticipated lesson.

"Welcome to Magic Studies. I imagine you're all excited to delve into such a mystical-sounding subject," the teacher began.
