Akaya couldn't quite grasp why Vilte seemed a bit awkward, but he could tell she was intrigued by the mysterious box.

"Akaya, this is bad—you can't be cheating," Rindou whispered urgently.

"Huh?" Akaya blinked in confusion.

"I mean, with those two..." Rindou's eyes filled with tears as she glanced between him and Shibahime.

"Rindou, why are you about to cry?" Akaya asked, bewildered.

"I don't want Vilte and Himerin to fight because of you!" Rindou sobbed. "It'll turn into a deadly duel!"

"Calm down, Rindou," Shibahime said coolly. "What exactly are you talking about?"

Sniffling, Rindou explained her shocking realization: that Akaya and Shibahime were dating, making Akaya's acceptance of Vilte's mug an act of infidelity. Ultimately, she was accusing him.

"Wait, me? And Shibahime? There's no way that's true," Akaya protested.
