"Sanada Yukimura"-Asher

My excitement was short lived as after a few more seconds of analyzing I could very easily figure out that she was very drunk. Her cheeks were bright red in contrast to her pale face. her blue eye's were large and her pupils were dilated. She swayed like the leaning tower of Pisa, nearly collapsing multiple times on the short walk from the door to her front desk. All the boys oohed and aahed as they admired her ten mile long legs perfectly accentuated by her miniskirt so short that it could pass for a belt. She was like one hot, walking strip tease.

When she finally sat-more like collapsed- down into her seat she began to giggle again and something in my head clicked. I recognized that laugh. It belonged to the same girl who was on the announcer in the morning. After she finally managed to bring herself back down to earth she began to speak in a heavily drawled and slurred voice. "Hey guy's, sorry for being late I had just laid down to take a nap and when I woke up it was already time." She went on to mumble something incoherent involving a hangover. "My name is Sanada Yukimura." An awkward silence settled over the class. "Any questions." For a second no one spoke up before finally Liam raised his hand.

"I have more than a few questions but if I there's one I'd like to have answered than it'd be, what is up with this school." Even if no one said it, that was the question on everyone's mind. Most people were sent to this school because of their amazing grades and school performances, but it was also a school for only orphans, while at the same time being a government funded institution on a private island. It was trying to be so many things at once that it left the schools true purpose hidden under a veil of mist and shadow. If you ask me its all pretty suspicious. I thought to myself. Along with the rest of the class I sat down and waited for an answer, though I kept my expectations low seeing how pitiful of a condition that Ms. Yukimura was in.

She fell into a coughing fit before she finally answered, "Well as you may know through the letter that was sent to you by the school when you where invited to come complete your studies here, this is a private, government funded school for orphans. As you may know it is extremely difficult to get invited to the school due to the high academic requirements. This is because the founders main goal is to make sure that students in academic excellence don't end up falling behind because of their unfortunate home situations."

"Oh, OK. Thanks." Liam replied but I could tell that he was dissatisfied with the answer. To be honest I was too. That didn't really explain the high tech technology, the insane things it was cable of, and although it somewhat explained the amazing living conditions provided for the students it still didn't explain why the government would spend so much. It felt like she was hiding something, or she was just so hungover she just forget to tell us.

The clink of jewels and gems filled the room as someone raised their hand. It was the rich guy dressed in red. His gold and diamond bracelets and rings clinked against each other with every move. Even though he sat in the direct center of the room he had nearly managed to disappear from my view, mostly because he had yet to make any notable moves. "I noticed while looking through our school issued phones that there is a app simply named KLP, and it has the name of every single student, an image, their year and a point number next to their info. Right now their all at zero. Does that mean that later into the year they're will be a ranking system among the students?"

That question caused a little bit of commotion in the classroom as students opened up their phones and checked the app. I also decided to open up the app myself, seeing as it provided a free resource to catalog all of the students in the school. I scrolled through the app myself looking through the names of the students. One thing that stood out to me was the fact that all of the student images seemed to be the most recent pictures of them, which didn't make much sense seeing as how all the first years had yet to take a photo shoot yet. I thought back to the cameras in the main hall swiveling around taking in information and it all made sense. This schools surveillance system was probably better than the actual government.

Ms. Yukimura began to say something, but then shut her mouth, thinking something over before she finally said, "All of that will be explained at the school assembly approaching in-" She was cut off by an announcement that told all students hear 1-4 to report to the auditorium for the school assembly. Ms. Yukimura pointed her finger directly in the air like some cartoon character and shouted in a very exaggerated voice, "To the auditorium we go!"

When I'm I going to meet someone whose actually sane.

On the way to the school auditorium I had what I can only describe as an interesting encounter. I was just waking passed the boys first floor bathroom, heading for the back door that would lead to the schools massive theater-like auditorium, when I heard a loud bang coming from the boy's bathroom door. Instantly, everyone in the hallway slowed down, interested in trying to figure out what was going on. It was the first day of school way to early for a fight between first years but some second or third years with bad blood could very much be duking it out in there. The next sound was that of an extremely muffled shout. From what I could make it the person shouting was saying something along the lines of, "Can't you keep your mouth shut! You've screwed us all over!" That was already weird but that it wasn't the weirdest thing that happened.

I felt a pair of eyes boring into the back of my neck and something told me that I knew who was staring. I looked back and just as I had expected I saw that same blonde haired blue eyes kid staring at me. There was only one person in between us, a short girl with blue hair and a green streak in her hair. I was seriously starting to get annoyed with this weirdo. I thought back to when I was scrolling through the KPl app. His name was Masaki Tanaka, and he was the second year class representative. I decided that if I wanted to get him to stop staring at me I was going to have to confront him. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding, I probably look like someone else he knows. But even I knew that that probably wasn't true.

I wasn't really good with outright confrontations and I didn't want to have to outright call him out so instead I pretended to go drink a sip of water from the water fountain, letting the short blue haired girl pass by, before I very strongly, but subtlety, pushed off of the water fountain, directly into the path of Tanaka. instantly, we both collided with each other, and Tanaka fell down onto the floor in a sitting position. It caused a bit more of a scene than I expected but I just continued with my plan. While Tanaka was on the ground before I reached out to offer him a hand to help him up I gave him a cold glare. A look that told him, I've notice you as well. Then I held out a hand to help him up, saying in a forced embarrassed voice, "Oh, my bad, didn't see you there."

He accepted my hand, gripping it way tighter than someone accepting a helping hand should. "Oh no worries, it happens to the best of us." He was smiling but his eyes weren't. We both continued to walk in the direction of the auditorium, making sure to give each other a wide berth of space.

Not even the afternoon yet and I've already made an enemy.

As the entire student body filed into the auditorium, I ended up running into Liam, and we had a short conversation. "I noticed that interaction you had with that third year. Tanaka." He whispered it into my ear, and I nodded my head subtly to show that I was listening. "We'll I think it was extremely suspect." I completely agreed with that point, but I kept silent and waited for him to elaborate. "I noticed the way he was staring at you, like he had already placed a target on you. It was also suspicious how when you called him by his first name, he didn't even flinch, nor did he question how you figured it out." It wasn't bad information, but it wasn't enough to come up with a complete conclusion. Thankfully, Liam had even more information. "I was talking to some girls from the other classes and it appears that their teachers also seemed to withhold certain information regarding the schools founder and its true purpose. I also had a few run ins with students in higher years and its the same thing as with that Tanaka guy. It's like the who school is trying to hide something from us first years."

Everything he was saying actually made sense. i decided that because he was in my class and because he seemed pretty perceptive I told him about the shouts that I heard coming from the boys bathroom. "I'm at least 99% sure that something is being hidden from the first years, and I'm also sure that its more sinister than some friendly school prank, but I can't prove the latter." Our conversation was cut short as all the students had finished lining up in the auditorium and the one and only Heath Salamander walked up to the podium.
