It’s the day before the battle with the Rogues and Sebastian and everyone is scrambling to try and gather any and all items needed. We’re all wrapping up the different plans and maps, handing them out to everyone that will be fighting in the now abandoned human village that once was the killing ground of Danielle and Vladimir. Currently, I’m working on getting documents signed and sent out, trying to take care of the paperwork now so that I don’t come back to a backlog. As I read over a document that pertains to the new blood alternative research, a knock rings through my office.


“Come in,” I call out, not looking up from the research. I hear the door open and close, as well as footsteps and a heartbeat coming towards me.


“Thad?” I hear my Little Rose’s soft voice. I look up and see her, a look of apprehension on her face. “I’m sorry if I’m bothering you, but-”


I cut her off before she can say anything else. “Rosette, you’re not bothering me. What is it?”
