074. Jealous Song Youzhen

Ye Manman had originally imagined all sorts of romantic scenarios with Su Yan in Yancheng.

But...

The moment she saw Song Youzhen's figure, she felt something was wrong.

'Why is this woman here?'

The thought alone made her unhappy.

'This trip to Yancheng should have been for just Su Yan and me. With Song Youzhen tagging along, things will definitely get complicated.'

"Manman, you went to Yancheng with Xiaoyan without telling me," Song Youzhen said casually as she walked over to Su Yan's side.

Watching Su Yan, her heart pounded faster. The last time in Oudao, Ye Manman had experienced what a real man was like.

How could Song Youzhen not feel something?

"Aunt Ye, Aunt Song, it's almost time to board the plane. Let's go."

When they arrived in Yancheng, Su Yan found a nearby luxury hotel to stay in.

He booked a room for himself. Song Youzhen had suggested sharing a room with Ye Manman, but Ye Manman firmly refused.

It had been too long since she last saw Su Yan, and she couldn't suppress her feelings any longer. After knowing how strong Su Yan truly was, she was convinced—no other man could ever compare to him.

Around eleven o'clock that night, Ye Manman, no longer able to contain herself, stood in front of the full-length mirror.

She quietly slipped on black stockings.

To her...

Su Yan was now as essential as life itself.

She would wear whatever pleased him. Everything else? Irrelevant.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Ye Manman instinctively thought it was Su Yan.

It's so late—Su Yan must be looking for me.

Though he was 24 years younger than her, he was still a man.

And all men think about certain things.

She opened the door...

Only to find Song Youzhen standing there.

"Youzhen, you haven't gone to bed yet?"

Song Youzhen's eyes lingered on Ye Manman, who hadn't taken off her makeup and was flaunting her long legs in black stockings.

A pang of jealousy hit her.

If this vixen hadn't swooped in last time, who knows who'd be wearing the stockings now?

But even she had to admit, this woman's figure was much better than hers.

Maybe that's what Su Yan likes.

The thought irritated her. Some things are simply a gift of nature, unchangeable.

Still, different sizes have their own appeal, right?

"Why haven't you removed your makeup so late? And you're still in those stockings?" Song Youzhen asked, unable to hide her bitterness.

Caught off guard, Ye Manman smiled weakly. "I'm just... enjoying myself."

"Come in, it's hot outside."

The summer heat was unbearable. Despite the pleasantries on the surface, the tension between the two women was undeniable.

They exchanged small talk, but the atmosphere was charged. Song Youzhen was relentless, chatting endlessly and preventing Ye Manman from leaving the room.

Finally, deep into the night, the two of them lay down and fell asleep.

Ye Manman woke up and glanced at her phone.

It was already half past two in the morning.

She fumed inwardly—Song Youzhen had ruined her plans. By now, Su Yan was probably asleep. She looked at the black stockings she had put on earlier, now crumpled and unused, and felt even more frustrated.

But Su Yan was only 18. He might still be awake, right?

Clinging to a shred of hope, she decided to message him.

To her surprise, Su Yan responded quickly.

"I'm still up, Aunt Ye. I just woke up from a nap."

Su Yan was brimming with energy. Even if he didn't sleep for days, he wouldn't feel tired. Staying up all night was no big deal for him.

"Then I'm coming over."

Ye Manman carefully slipped on her high heels and left the room. Luckily, Song Youzhen didn't stir.

Relieved, she tiptoed next door to Su Yan's room. The door was slightly ajar—clearly left that way for her.

She stepped inside, locked the door, and saw Su Yan lounging on the sofa, as if he had been waiting for her.

"Aunt Ye."

When Su Yan saw Ye Manman's legs in black stockings, he found himself struggling to stay composed.

A mature woman, black stockings, beautiful legs—together, they were irresistibly alluring.

Without a word, Ye Manman stepped closer.

"You little rascal... You're going to be the death of me," she whispered seductively. "Auntie's been going crazy thinking about you."

With that, she leaned in and kissed him.

A mature woman's passion was overwhelming.

Su Yan scooped her up effortlessly and carried her toward the floor-to-ceiling window.

The next morning, when Song Youzhen woke up, something felt off.

'Where is Ye Manman?'

Her absence made Song Youzhen uneasy. As she was stewing in her thoughts, Ye Manman waltzed in wearing pajamas.

"What were you doing?" Song Youzhen asked, trying to mask her suspicion.

"I just went for a walk," Ye Manman answered casually.

Walk? In pajamas and stockings? Who's she trying to fool?

"I'm going to freshen up," Song Youzhen muttered, glaring at her.

Watching her storm off, Ye Manman shrugged and headed to the bathroom. She filled the tub and sank into the warm water, recalling the events of last night with satisfaction.

Being proactive always paid off. People like Song Youzhen had their desires but were too afraid to act on them. That's why they were destined to only ever think about it.

As the saying goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Meanwhile, back in her room, Song Youzhen was seething. She now realized that the noises she had dismissed as part of a dream last night were not a dream at all.

Ye Manman had slipped away while she was still there, to be with Su Yan.

The nerve!

It made her blood boil. She had never felt this humiliated. After calming down for what seemed like forever, she vowed she wouldn't let this woman get the upper hand again.

Later that morning, after washing up and dressing, Song Youzhen headed to the restaurant, where she saw Ye Manman chatting with Su Yan.

A wave of jealousy swept over her. If only she had known things would turn out this way, she never would've introduced Su Yan to Ye Manman in the first place.

"Aunt Song, morning," Su Yan greeted cheerfully as she sat down.

"Good morning," she replied, forcing a smile.

"We're going to the Great Wall today," Su Yan announced. "It would be a shame to come all the way to Yancheng and not visit."

The bidding for the Olympic naming rights didn't start until tomorrow, so there was no rush.

"Sure, sounds good."

As they sat there, Ye Manman mischievously brushed her foot against Su Yan's leg under the table.

It distracted him momentarily. Mature women were so direct; there was no mistaking their intentions. She had made everything crystal clear last night.

"By the way, a friend of mine is joining us later," Su Yan added. "We'll all go to the Great Wall together. But Aunt Song, Aunt Ye, don't wear high heels today. Climbing the Great Wall in them would be exhausting."

Both women were used to wearing high heels, but they knew better than anyone how tiring it could be.

"Who's your friend?" Ye Manman asked.

Su Yan answered nonchalantly, "Just some rich second-generation kid I met at an auction. Wang Sicong."

To Su Yan, Wang Sicong wasn't much to talk about. Despite being once associated with success, his business ventures had ultimately failed.

After breakfast, Su Yan waved for a Maybach parked nearby. He had rented it for convenience during their stay in Yancheng.

Next time, he thought, it might be worth buying a courtyard house in Yancheng. They weren't too expensive nowadays. This time, though, he hadn't had the time to consider it.

"Youzhen, you can take the front seat," Su Yan called, opening the door.
