CHAPTER TEN

As both were waiting at the platform 6, Hannah felt asking Christian about something lingering in her head for a while.

"Christian." As the name left more like a whisper from her lips. His name, it was perfectly made just for her to call him like that. Peace was felt just like the echoes in the winter filled with warmth of the summer. He looked at her with so much adoration. But the next thing she said, raised his heart beat searching for an answer that's been answered already.

"Christian. What are we? I mean the things between us doesn't feel like an ordinary people would do. Does it?"

Before Christian could answer this mystery. The train has arrived, and there she is. Scarlett Brooks.

"Hey honey hanniee! Long time no see. And who's this handsome rookie looking so flushed?" Lett screamed as she got down. And Christian introduced himself excusing himself from Hannah's question.

" Hello! I'm Christian and I feel like I'm on a quest to know the perfect cup of tea for tonight" He had to scream back at her as the platform got busier in a minute or so.

"I'm Scarlett Brooks. Hannah's long lost sister, I mean her best friend and Not bad! You've got interesting stuff." Scarlett said getting along with him in a flick of a second.

"Okayy ladies! The dinner's on me tonight. Let's grab some heavenly food and I'm already starving. "

Christian made sure the environment doesn't get awkward due to his unplanned presence.

" Let's go to McDonald's first. McDonald's in Leeds sucks. What do you say Han?" Lett said making a pretty please expression written all over her face.

"Okay! Let's go have the taste of heaven!" Hannah said with agreement.

And with that, Christian's driving the car while Hannah's drowned into thoughts and Scarlett enjoying the music.

"So Christian, how did you guys got along? I mean, I barely see Hannah get along with guys. What did you just do?" Scarlett asked being curious.

"Lettie I'm not that introverted." Hannah tried defending herself.

"Actually Lett, you know it was indeed hard to get noticed by her. It took me almost several months."Christian said as he was reminded by his efforts.

"I'll tell you every single detail as we get along Lett." Christian smiled as he knew there's a lot to be shared. And he noticed Hannah still drowned in her mind but as the moonlight hit her skin as if casting some magic spell. She glowed like a flawless angel with delicate heart and indeed she is. Her natural pink lips eventually got dried as the breeze pierced through her. Her eyes were calm and deep as the ocean. And for the record Christian fell in love with her for the millionth time as he looked at her. He gulped as he knew the consequences. She's a little snowflake held by a man casting flames, a perfect paradox. With tempting heart, he had to distract himself for now. And the time flows slow as never. The surreal glow made her gorgeous like freshly bloomed flowers in the morning.

"We're there ladies!" Christian cooed at them like a baby bird ready to feast the meal being all excited in front of a food store.

They rushed into the store as if they owned it.

After placing the order, it was ready for take away.

"So where do you guys wanna eat?" Christian asked to know the preferences.

"Let's go to the lake. I miss the sweet smell of the moist soil." Lett said as reminiscing her childhood remembering how Hannah and her played near the lake whenever they had time in the weekend. The only difference is that Hannah's dad accompanied them back then.

Christian drove with agreement considering it was a great choice to have a peaceful meal away from the city lights.
