After breakfast, they made their way back to the apartment. The familiar quiet of home greeted them as soon as they stepped inside.

Damon set their bags down by the door, while Svetlana slipped off her shoes and walked toward the living room, taking a deep breath as she settled in.

It didn't take long before they were both unpacked and back into a rhythm. Their space felt normal again. But the conversation from earlier stayed with them, and before long, it came up again.

They sat together on the couch, both of them resting for a while. Damon glanced over at her, then spoke. "We should tell them all at once."

Svetlana turned toward him, curious.

He continued. "A gathering. Everyone together. We make it a celebration. Announce the engagement… and the baby."

For a second, she just watched him. Then a small smile formed. "I like that," she said. "Better than telling everyone separate."
