Don't look at Daz's young age now. His strength and speed are already impressive. It's clear he has been trained since childhood, as he rushed towards Yuri with incredible speed, blades in hand, aiming to strike Yuri's body.

Daz's attack did land on Yuri, but Daz was shocked. "Not cut?"

When Daz attacked, Yuri's trench coat automatically protected him. Daz's blades hit Yuri's iron sand suit, which blocked the attack. The iron sand vibrates at high speed, providing both strong offense and defense. Even the Daz from later years couldn't cut through Yuri's iron sand defense.

All attacks were blocked by layers of fine, vibrating iron sand. While this was normal for Yuri, it was shocking for Daz. As a Devil Fruit user who can turn any part of his body into sharp blades, Daz's blades usually had unmatched cutting power, surpassing even some famous swords. In his mind, nothing could withstand his cutting ability. But now, his blades couldn't cut through Yuri's black coat. Instead, the vibrating iron sand cut him like a chainsaw.

As Daz was in shock, a rain of sand burst out from Yuri's coat, surprising him further. He turned his hands and arms into blades to resist the sand rain but was pushed back by its force. His Devil Fruit ability gave him strong defense, and the sand rain attacks couldn't seriously injure him.

When the sand rain stopped, Daz stabilized himself, ready to continue attacking Yuri. At that moment, one of Yuri's sleeves lifted automatically and stretched out to strike Daz hard, sending him flying back more than ten meters. Blood flowed from the corner of his mouth, but he didn't give up. When he steadied himself to attack again, he saw Yuri holding a coin between his thumb and index finger.

A coin? Daz was puzzled but rushed to attack Yuri again. Suddenly, an orange-red light shot from Yuri's hands, piercing through Daz's ear before he could react. Daz turned in shock to see a huge house collapse after being shot through by the orange light. He was astonished and lost all confidence to defeat Yuri.

"Is this a super-electromagnetic gun? Is this the strength of a pirate worth one hundred million berries? I can't resist at all," Daz said incredulously.

"Your name is Daz Bonez? You're very good. It would be a pity if your journey ended here. How about joining my pirate group? Being West Blue's top pirate hunter is too weak. Do you want to see the New World?" Yuri asked, walking over.

"The New World?" Daz questioned.

"The second half of the Grand Line is called the New World. People there call the first half of the Grand Line and the four seas 'Paradise.'"

Hearing Yuri's words, Daz's eyes narrowed. "Paradise? Being the top in Paradise doesn't make sense. Then, Captain, please take care of me in the future," Daz replied after a moment.

Daz had wanted to be the strongest in West Blue, the number one pirate hunter. But learning that West Blue was just 'Paradise' for New World residents made his previous dream seem ridiculous. Seeing Yuri's strength, he decided to follow him.

...

"Captain, isn't our pirate group just the three of us?" Daz asked when he and Yuri returned to the boat, seeing Robin and a small boat easily overturned by a storm.

"Hehe, do you think any ordinary riff-raff is eligible to join the Gabriel Pirates?" Yuri replied haughtily.

"..." Robin stayed silent.

"Indeed, recruiting a bunch of riff-raff is pointless," Robin agreed, his eyes flickering.

"But I already have a goal for strength."

"A goal?" Even Robin was surprised. During this time, they had been avoiding capture by the Marines. When did Yuri set a goal?

"Why look so surprised? I don't want to be driven by the Marines all the time. Akainu is like a mad dog. If it weren't for his ability to deal with Logia Devil Fruit, I would have fought him already."

"I need time to develop the power to deal with Logia Devil Fruit, but running around all the time doesn't allow for training. To avoid Marine and World Government spies, we need some power."

"Power to deal with Logia Devil Fruit? I remember you mentioned something called Armament Haki. Can it be cultivated quickly?" Robin asked. She knew from Yuri that to counter Logia Devil Fruit's elementalization, one needed to control Haki. But it wasn't something easily mastered.

"Armament Haki?" Daz was hearing this for the first time.

"Armament Haki is a type of Haki, a latent power within the body. With training, it can be awakened and acts like an invisible armor, providing strong defense and increasing attack power. It's like comparing tofu to iron—the same size but vastly different power. Armament Haki can also touch and resist Devil Fruit users. Recently, I sensed its presence and am trying to guide and control it through training," Yuri explained.

When his Observation Haki awakened, Yuri clearly perceived the latent power in his body, but he had been unable to guide it out.

"There is such power in the world," Daz said in surprise.

"This is the basic ability of New World powerhouses. Without Armament Haki, you can't gain a foothold there. To stand out in the New World, you need to break through Armament Haki's defenses. Otherwise, your cutting fruit is worthless in the New World," Yuri said.

"Cut through Armament Haki's defense? I will definitely do it," Daz said thoughtfully, a determined expression on his face.

[Author's Note: Some said there were too many fights and details were skipped. This isn't filler. I could write tens of thousands of words for a fight, but future abilities will involve more detailed battles.]

[Regarding gravitational repulsion, everything has a magnetic field, so it's not surprising the protagonist can control it. Devil Fruits make anything possible, and novels are imaginative. Don't be too scientific; it's restrictive.]
