The Dark Side. 3

The chill of the breeze that had been enveloping them ever since they'd entered that strange landscape suddenly ceased to exist, leaving Trent in a place where even the concept of air seemed absent.

The shadows that had previously clung to their surroundings dissipated, revealing the area in full. Yet, it wasn't like any other landscape Trent had encountered in the Paradox; it wasn't a forest, valleys, or desert. Instead, it was like a vast, dark cavern, an eerie hollow, stretching into an unknown abyss.

Trent looked around the cavern. It was a massive, shadowy expanse, the crooked walls looming above him with moisture that gleamed faintly. Stalactites hung from the uneven ceiling like the jagged teeth of the cavern if it were a living thing. The air was thick and congested, making it quite difficult to breathe. 'What the heck is this place? System, have an idea?'

[Curiously enough, Nightingale. There is no record of this location marked anywhere on the map.]
