Lucas had always been a person without hope for his life, ever since he was a child. This only grew after the person he loved most died, and he realized that justice had abandoned him. The specters stole the Primordial Life, the world's magic was gone, and only a few could still use it. After waking up, following a conversation with his friend and wondering if the gods truly exist, he feels an abnormal urge within himself, being one of the last bearers of magic.

Primordial Shadows

I look around, trying to find the person who said that. As I examine one of the bushes, I see two people approaching. Instinctively, I hide behind a tree and begin to listen to the approaching footsteps. I quickly step out from behind the tree with my katana in hand and move toward the steps. I jump out of the bush and attack one of them. It's only when I have my katana close to his throat that I realize who they are. 


"Yes, Lucas, kill him! That way, I won't be mistaken for that repulsive person anymore." 


The people I had just encountered were Larry and Lawrie. 


"It's me, Lucas! Don't listen to my brother!" 


I step off Lawrie and look at the two of them. 


"You couldn't even kill him, Lucas. What a shame." 


Larry says, looking down and running his hand over his head. 


Lawrie gets up and moves toward Larry.
