After Cassandra had signed the contract. The lady which she had finally gotten to know her name, Lady Milana can inside Mr Zayn's office.
Lady Milana led Cassandra out of Zayn's office and to a room on the second floor. The room consisted of many small lockers where one keep his clothes. Cassandra changed into the waitresses uniform. A clean white button up shirt and thigh-length black skirt with tummy apron. She packed her cherry hair into a bun. After she was ready, she saw lady Milana give her a thumbs up with a smile and Cassandra chuckled.
"Come dear. Let's go introduce you to the others." Lady Milana held Cassandra's arms and led her out of the room. She walked Cassandra to the kitchen where food were being cooked and placed for orders. "Girls and boys!" As she had called out, it wasn't only girls, there were plenty of boys as waiters too. "Say hi, Cassandra." Cassandra had told the lady her name in-between their conversation from the room to the kitchen.
"Hello, my name is Cassandra and I look forward to working with all of you." Cassandra graced a beautiful smile on her lips and she had already captured the hearts of many boys.
"Hi Cassie, I can call you that, right?" A young girl walked out of the lot and approached Cassandra. She was a head shorter that Cassandra with blonde hair and grey eyes.
The other waiters and waitresses just waved as almost everyone was busy carrying out customer orders.
"Sure, you can call me that." Cassandra replied to her question.
"Dear, you need to join them. We have a lot, I mean LOT, she emphasized on the last word, "...of customers tonight. It's discount Friday." Cassandra slowly nodded as she noted. Discount Friday.
"Is it every Friday?" She asked and the woman nodded. She led her out of the kitchen and stopped at the counter.
"Every Friday is discount Friday. That's why it's usually full on Fridays. So go out there and take some orders, okay?" Cassandra nodded and left the woman's sight. By nature, she wasn't introverted. She spoke her mind out, finding different tables and speaking to customers wasn't hard for her. She didn't have experience or whatsoever in being a waitress, but she knew how to grasp quickly.

Cassandra wiped her forehead as she blew out a "Phew." She looked at the digital clock hung on the wall and it was already twenty-three minutes after eleven. She sighed and unlocked the locker she had kept her clothes in. She noticed other lockers had names of each user on it, and she made a mental note to get hers too. She changed into her normal clothes and came out in time to notice lady Milana outside.
"Oh dear, have you finished?" The lady asked and Cassandra nodded. She had told the older woman that she would be finishing by eleven. "Go back safely." Lady Milana patted her arm as she was shorter compared to Cassandra.
Cassandra walked out of the building. She climbed down the stairs and passed the water fountain. She turned left and started walking towards the direction of the midnight bus stop when she felt a call pull up beside her. The passenger's side glass wound down and a man spoke, she turned to look at the source of sound coming from the driver's sit and she saw who she had always wanted to see.
"Hi!" She waved as she approached closer to the car.
"It's been a while." His red hair was tussled and falling over his pretty face. "Wanna come in?"
"No, it's alright. My house is not so far." She smiled, though she wanted to enter but it wasn't right. "I'll get g--"
"I'll drop you. You'd still have to take the bus anyways." He offered and she nodded. It would save her transport fare anyway.
"Thank you." She appreciated as she made herself comfortable on the passenger's sit.
"You work around here?" She heard him ask with his mildly deep voice and she gulped. She wondered why she was taking note of every little thing he did.
"Mm, in that restaurant. The Garden of Eat'n." She told him with a smile on her face.
"Oh..." He slowly nodded. "For your hostel fee?" He asked and she turned to him with furrowed brows.
"How'd you know?" She asked with a teasing sound. He wasn't looking at her, as he was focused on the road.
"I got it from Tate, that last time I saw you." Cassandra noted he wasn't a too musch speaker. He spoke very calmly.
Cassandra noticed his right hand on the sleek steering wheel covered in black leathe, how he turned it slowly. She saw the veins on his arms and she took her eyes away from his hand to his face and it wasn't any better. She took note of his long lashes, his blue eyes and those pink supple lips. She wanted to trace her thumb on his bottom lips and Cassandra immediately shook her head. When did she start having these strange feelings for him?!
They came to traffic, and he stopped at the red light. "I paid for it though. Your hostel fee." He told her, turning to face her and Cassandra blanched.
"You can't be serious." She saw all the seriousness on his face. Then all of a sudden, she squealed excitedly and jump into his arms — that had left the steering wheel. She embraced him in happiness. "Thank you! Thank you so much!!" She didn't notice the change in expression in Elijah's body. Cassandra realised what she was doing and let go off him. "I'm sorry, I was just too excited." She dimpled her cheeks.
"It's alright. You can hug me if you like." He said and she chuckled. Did he even know what he said??
The red light turned green and Elijah put his hand back on the steering wheel. "I paid for two though. I figured you might not want to be all alone. Tate would give you your keys by Monday." His eyes were back on the road.
Cassandra thought he was nice. He was. He paid her hostel fees because, he had heard her and Tate talking about it. He had paid her hostel fee without even knowing who she was.
"You can drop me here." Cassandra noticed they had come to the alley close to Aunt Jess' house.
"Okay." Elijah pulled over and she came down his car. "Go safely." His mind kept reminding him to collect her number or contact details, but he didn't want to yet.
"Yeah thank you, goodnight.
