Outside The Container part 1

James looks outside the open door and as Noah said it's really dark outside not like night darkness as they still had moonlight before but now as if there's no stars and moon in the sky.

James took the first step outside and then looked around both sides but he couldn't see anything as if nothing existed beyond this point.

"That's weird, something really bad is going on here."

James holds the opened container door and uses his leg to kick the container beside their container, even though he couldn't see he can still feel the container.

James turned to call Noah outside only to see Inside the container was also dark. He couldn't see anyone inside the container that he just saw a few moments ago.

A girl's muffled cry could be heard inside. Being not able to see anything inside darkness is really frightening and hearing this muffled cry is scaring him.

"Noah, you are still there?"

"Of course I am, don't you see I'm still sitting here on the same spot man." Noah said to James as he kept looking around instead of looking at him directly.

"I can't see shit everything is dark.

"What kind of crap you are trying to pull, I clearly see you standing here."

Noah stood up and stood in front of James, James almost got scared seeing Noah suddenly appearing in front of him.

"Dude you just scared me."

"Now, who's the pussy here."

"Damn it, it's not time for this shit Noah. Focused on what we should do next." James turned to look outside. Everything was dark and nothing could be seen.

"It is dark outside. I never saw something like this before. It feels like we are in some kind of giant dome that has covered everything." Noah looked around the surrounding, he can see containers around them but after few meter Its completely dark. Just then out of nowhere the same girl from before who run away comes back right in front of them, She enters inside the container.

"Hurry up and get inside or I will lock the door from inside." She said in an urgent soft voice like a whisper.

Noah and James both get inside the container and the girl closes the door and turns to everyone.

"Now, whatever you guys hear from outside no matter what, don't make any sound, don't whisper or breathe strongly."

"If you made one single sound we would all be dead."

"Fate far worse than death awaits us outside."

Noah, James and other girls heard her voice clear but they didn't understand why she warned them like this but they just decided to do as she told them. Few seconds later inside the container pitch black darkness only the sound of faint breathing could be heard.

The suddenly heard sound of gunfire outside getting louder and louder soon after follows people running and shouting noise and scream that sent chill to their spine the blood curdling screams just outside the container. They don't know what's going on outside but only thing is certain no-one has survived outside.

Something dreadful and huge was walking outside. They could feel it through earth vibration as each step these things took ground would shake, as this creature walked, the container would fall from their place.

Even after they stopped hearing any voices they still remain as they're not want to take any unnecessary risk. Noah and James took out their phone to call the police but there wasn't any single one on their phone.

"That's weird sea port always had a good network connection but when we needed the police help, it stopped working." James said as he tried to call the police.

"Even SOS isn't working." Noah also tried calling the police and his friends but it didn't work, not even SOS.

After half an hour Noah stood up and walked next to the girl and said in a lower voice not wanting to let anyone from outside hear them, "what's going on outside?"

"Don't make any noise, stay at one place, this isn't something you can deal with, you can't even see in darkness here and exploring the sea port outside is out of your capabilities."

"Why you and James keep saying like this, inside the container is still visible but darkness outside is the main problem here."

"We can't see anything outside the darkness has taken over everything, is the world coming to end?" Noah starts to panic again.

"You can see inside the container?" The girl finally asked Noah a question.

"Obviously I can."

"Which clan are you from? Or you for any organisation?" The purple-haired girl asked Noah questions like he belonged to some secret organization.

"What you are talking about, I don't belong to any clan or organization."

Hearing his answer she didn't believe him but didn't try to say anything either after he refused to answer her questions.

James was just as clueless as others.

"What's really going on here is this world war 4 or its alien invasion." James asked in nervousness as she was the only one who had to go outside and return back alive even if that was for one minute.

"Something like that, the situation is not good outside. Stop thinking that the police or army are going to save you."

James and Noah's face became down upon hearing this.

"Then what about our family outside?" James asked her.

"They're safe, its really complicated to explain this to you."

"This might be the sea port you know but not the one from our world." The more she talks the weirder it feels her words don't make any sense to them.

"What do you mean by that?" James and Noah asked both at the same time.

"I will tell you guys but before that release this girl first."

Noah grabbed the knife and one by one started to realize girls from their restraints, they all thanked Noah.

"Hey, listen up, this is important."

Noah, James and girls turned to the purple hair girl. They all sat down in a circle around her to listen to her.

"This might seem unbelievable but we are in completely different places than what we know on chthon, this isn't even our planet chthon."

"This place is called the nightmare realm, we are inside the nightmare realm. There are creatures beyond your imagination inside the nightmare realm?"

"So, don't do anything that will endanger everyone's life."

"Just do as I say, don't make any loud noise, unless you have to run as fast as you can if you get left behind from a group you are dead and no-one is coming to save you."

"If you feel uneasy or someone is watching you tell us immediately."

"Don't be overconfident in your abilities that you can win against nightmare realm creatures that can't be killed with normal weapons."

"If they can't be killed with normal weapons then how are we going to kill them, how are we going to defend ourselves?" James asked the same question in everyone else's mind.

"There's a way to kill this creature but it isn't easy."

"What do they look like in this nightmare creature?" One of the girls asked.

"They all come in different shapes and sizes but the most common one is at adult human height and has black skin."

"They're stronger than humans, Faster than humans but what they lack is human intelligence, they hunt their prey by instinct."

"Don't underestimate them just because they have lower intelligence, you will be dead before you know it."

"Then how do we get out of here, if we are not on our planet?" One of the girls asked.

"Only way to get out of here is to find a return crystal they're as big as a human head glowing with light."

"Return crystal might be hidden somewhere on this sea port, most likely in the office."

"Just as scary these nightmare creatures are, humans that roam this realm are much more scary, don't trust anyone here, even if they look like saints but they're not the one."

After hearing everything Noah, James and girls were scared but the only way to escape was finding a return crystal.

Even if they don't want to leave the container they have to for their survival but the main thing is how they are going to find the office in the dark since they can't see anything in darkness.

Everyone was scared but there's no way out except for the return crystal, James looked around he could barely see everyone face he but hesitated as he was trying to say something.

"My....my name is James, if I don't make it back it was really nice knowing you all." James smiles after saying that even though he doesn't have high hopes of going back to chthon.

"I'm Noah.... Noah Calhem." Noah said with awkwardness in his voice.

"I'm Betty." Girl with brown hair and brown eyes said, she has an average face that looks like someone you forgot about after meeting them one time.

"I'm Kristina."

"My name is Brittany."

"I'm Hillary."

"I'm Olivia."

One by one all the girls said their names. Most of them knew they wouldn't make it alive from here.

Now, purple-haired girl was the only one who didn't said her name yet.

They look at her as they want to know her name too.

"My name is Yui."
