『Hi! Vtuber Ethan, do you want to try going out on a bloody adventure?』



It all started with that single message appearing in front of me and haunting me like a demon for a week. 



Just when I thought it had ended, the Galaxy Stars’ Alliance called me to their headquarters. The surprisingly-young commander’s face smiled while looking at my confusion. 



“I know it should be shocking, so I'll repeat it for you. The message you have seen was sent to you by an entity living in one of the Death Islands, Marijuana Island.”



Okay, I could somehow register that part, although not completely. But what she said next made my head overheat. 



“You and another 39 people had been summoned to join this adventure. This adventure may allow us to finally unravel the secrets surrounding the Death Islands. As a member of the alliance, you will gladly help us there, am I wrong?”



‘Yes–!!’ Or so I wanted to scream in response, but the commander's gentle face could not mask the subtle threat in her eyes. 



I seriously wanted to ask, why would you allow a bunch of Vtubers to participate in something as important as this? Why are you sending us to a place called Death Islands with a smile? 



But once the alliance threw me and the others on the island, I realized why. 



『Everyone had arrived! That's wonderful. Now, just as I have discussed with your authority, Survival Games will start! Only true Vtubers could make these games interesting!』



We were abandoned here to satisfy this entity; our lives and deaths did not matter for the Galaxy Stars’ Alliance. For them, we were dispensable pawns they could afford at any time. 



Oh well, since I'm thrown here, I may as well continue my career and leave here alive. 



As I adjusted my camera, I was unaware of the gaze following my every footstep.
